Monday, March 28
*8:37 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a report of theft in the 2500 block of 11th Street. According to the report, a license plate with a Dallas Cowboys cover was stolen from the complainant’s vehicle.
*11:38 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Road regarding a student having been found in possession of marijuana. The student was taken into custody and transported to the Brownwood Police Department where the student was processed and then transported to the Juvenile Probation Office, released to the staff on duty.
Tuesday, March 29
*12:27 AM – Two Brownwood Police officers were flagged down regarding a hit and run while patrolling through a north Brownwood business. According to the report, the complainant stated that a small black two-door sports car backed into a coworker’s vehicle and fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was located approximately a block away and the driver, identified as 23-year-old Orion Peters of Brownwood, was arrested for duty on striking an unattended vehicle.
*1:12 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Center Avenue regarding a suspicious person. According to the report, the officer spoke with all involved parties and a case of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was opened.*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Prisilla A. Barron of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 24-year-old Kendra Danielle Brown of Brownwood on warrants related to ran stop sign, two counts of violate promise to appear, and unrestrained child.
*19-year-old Cody Oric Gonzales turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Maria Angelica Hernandez of Brownwood for tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brownwood Police arrested 57-year-old Sylvia Jacquez of Brownwood for injury to a child/elderly/disabled person with intentional bodily injury.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Andres Salazar Noyola of Abilene on two surety withdrawals related to engage in organized criminal activity and theft of property equal or greater than $750 less than $2500 enhanced.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Enrique Ponce of Coleman on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 ounce less than 4 grams. Ponce was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
