Saturday, March 24
2:42pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block Durham Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, evidence at the scene revealed that a window was entered and items stolen from the residence. A possible suspect has been named and charges are pending, the report states. Items stolen include a child’s foam Spiderman futon and a DVD, according to police.
Wednesday, March 28
*2:15pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Southside Drive. According to the report, the administration of the Brownwood Alternative High School reported an assault of a teacher by a female student. According to the report, a student pushed a teacher. After a short investigation, the student was issued a citation for Assault-Offensive Touch and additionally the student was suspended for three days as school punishment, the report states.
Thursday, March 29
*6:05am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of 4th Street, Food Plaza, regarding theft. According to the report, a store clerk advised at 1:27am, a female attempted to pay for gas but her credit card was declined. The female stated she would go home and return right away to pay for the fuel; however, she did not return to pay for the fuel, the report states. No arrest had been made at the time of the report.
*6:32am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding terroristic threat. The report states that the complainant advised the officer that her ex-boyfriend had sent her threatening messages. The suspect was not on scene according police.
*7:15am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 8th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that his two juvenile daughters were fighting and that he received minor injuries when attempting to separate the juveniles.
*12:36pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of 4th Street regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant advised that she felt threatened on Facebook by her daughter-in-law.
*4:58pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 11th Street regarding an accident. According to the report, police arrived to find a male, the driver of the vehicle, lying on the ground. The male was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room by Guardian EMS, the report states. It was later found that the male did not have a valid driver’s license, only a Texas identification card.
*10:43pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 14th Street for speeding. According to the report, the driver, identified as 60-year-old Roy Glenn Ferguson was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.
Friday, March 30
*12:12am-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 300 block of W. Adams Street which led to the arrest of Brandon Scott Taylor for Driving While Intoxicated.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
