Wednesday, March 27

*11:25 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Baker regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant had filed a report earlier in the week; however since then had noted a tape measure, 3 foot nail bar, and small metal T-square stolen from the residence.  Total value of the missing property is estimated at $32.

*11:25 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine.  According to a representative of Dr. Pepper, a vending machine at a local hotel was broken into and an unknown amount of currency stolen.

*4:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue for a gas drive off.  According to the report, an unknown suspect drove off without paying for $20 of gas from the convenience store.

*6:11 PM –Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding theft.  According to the report, money from a rental property was paid to a property manager who stated that it was stolen from them by another renter.  Suspects in the theft were identified, the report states.

*6:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of US Hwy 377S regarding an animal bite.  The call led to a citation being issued to a male subject for animal running at large.

*9:54 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Brady Avenue after observing the vehicle operating on the wrong side of the roadway while traveling in the 1400 block of Avenue B.  During the stop, a marijuana pipe was located inside the vehicle and the driver was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and released at the scene.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on W. Main Blvd regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, 57-year-old Robert Lee Scribner was arrested after officers had spoken with him and the victim regarding the incident and noted an injury on the victim that was consistent with her statement about being assaulted by Scribner.  Scribner was charged with assault with injury family violence.

*Early Police arrested 21-year-old Gwendolyn Doud on a Coleman County warrant related to burglary of a habitation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Justin Torres of San Antonio on two warrants from Bexar County related to fictitious insurance and fictitious /altered/obscured vehicle registration.

Thursday, March 28

*1:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Vine Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, one of the actors identified as Kimberly Boland was arrested and charged with assault by contact, assault by contact family member, interference with public duty and resist search, arrest or transport.

*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Serina Crockett for public intoxication.

*29-year-old Tristan Miles Tomme of Bangs turned himself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated/motion to revoke.
