Wednesday, March 26
*8:28 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Crothers regarding a follow-up on a runaway juvenile. As a result of this call, officers arrested 21-year-old Dylan James Bendt of Brownwood for harboring a runaway and sexual assault of a child. Bendt is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $21,000.
*8:39 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue H regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband, who she is separated from, damaged the key fob to her vehicle when she confronted him at his residence about his alleged failure to assist in raising their children.
*4:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding a burglary of a habitation. According to the report, there was no suspect information and the burglary is under further investigation.
*6:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 5th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, an unknown person entered the residence and took several tools.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to North Hwy 279 regarding suspicious circumstances. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 34-year-old Marvin Don Thompson of Brownwood for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal trespass of a habitation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit and run accident at a residence on Country Road 360. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had struck his vehicle during the night while it was parked in front of the residence.
*45-year-old Richard Tyrone Bryant of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to sexual assault of a child.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Colt Lavern Ferguson of Brownwood on a warrant related to abandon/endanger child criminal negligence.
*Bangs Police arrested 48-year-old Samantha Marie Hellinger of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 2 gram.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 27-year-old Qwayne Delvin Jennings of Brownwood on a warrant related to credit card or debit card abuse.
*34-year-old Joy Luis Miller of Early Turned herself in on a warrant related to theft by check.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Jefferey Prescott Rivera, Jr. of Copperas Cove on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 27-year-old Shazzity Denise Scott on a warrant related to credit card or debit card abuse.
Thursday, March 27
*1:12 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding harassment. According to the report, the harassment was occurring via a social media website. The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant was assaulted by another employee at Care Nursing and Rehab after they had argued.
*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Khayman Broadi Delarosa of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault family/household member impeded breath/circulation.
*Bangs Police arrested 34-year-old Jason Preston Gross of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.
*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Kalisha Schafer of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension/without financial responsibility.
