Monday, March 21
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 234 regarding a mailbox being damaged. According to the report, there was no suspect information available.
Tuesday, March 22
*10:05 AM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the area of Cordell Street and Belle Plain. According to the report, during the stop, several items of drug paraphernalia were located. As a result of the stop, 32-year-old Lyndon Dale Harling, Jr., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
*11:34 AM – Brownwood Police met with two complainants at the law enforcement center regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainants stated that they had been scammed and counterfeit checks, totaling more than $8,000, had been cashed on their bank accounts.
*12:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Main Street regarding theft. According to the report, a U-Haul car dolly, valued at $2500, was stolen from the property.
*4:17 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Slayden regarding the theft of a tail light.*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Carrie Lyn Cox of Brownwood on a warrant related to forgery – to defraud or harm elderly.
*Brownwood Police arrested 45-year-old Michael Homer Reyna of Bangs on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, March 23
*12:42 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 8th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, an unknown person threw a rock through the complainant’s front window. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
