Monday, March 17
*10:17 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of W. Commerce regarding the theft of a motor vehicle from Longhorn Auto. According to the report, this call led to a report being made for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a 2006 GMC 1500 single cab pickup.
Tuesday, March 18
*3:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 6th Street regarding the theft of two mini motorcycles. According to the report, the theft occurred sometime between March 16th and March 18th. A suspect was named according to the report.
*The Abilene office of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality received a complaint of a large quantity of garbage being dumped in the back yard of a residence on County Road 350 in Blanket. TCEQ requested that Brown County Sheriff’s Office investigate this report.
*Early Police arrested 36-year-old Barrett Ray Allen of Early for unlawful possession of firearm by felon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Nicholas Joe Castenada of Bangs for expired registration.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 33-year-old Virginia Ruth Darnell of Brownwood for a surety withdrawal.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Karen Leigh Dempsey** on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
*36-year-old Jimmy Lee Dudley, Jr. of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal for assault family violence occlusion.
*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Jeffery Shane Hamill of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault causes family violence.
*Early Police arrested 33-year-old Amber Nicole Head of Early for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and driving while license invalid two or more convictions.
*Brownwood Police arrested 46-year-old Ronnie Lee Patterson of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Jose Jairo Rico-Aquino of Joshua on a Gregg County warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
*Early Police arrested 38-year-old Pamela Gayle White of Bangs on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
Wednesday, March 19
*2:04 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Maple Street regarding a runaway juvenile.
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Christopher Lee Salazar on two warrants related to failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Darvin Schneider of Early on a Brown County warrant related to theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check and a Williamson County for theft by check.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Robert Lee Powell of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
