*12:41 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Houston Street regarding an unknown person or persons trespassing and causing damage to the property.
*3:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4400 block of Delwood Drive regarding debit/credit card abuse.
*4:20 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Morris Shephard Drive. According to the report, during the stop, a male subject was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Officers attempted to arrest the male, who fled, the report states. Officers began a short foot chase and caught up with the male and after a brief struggle, officers were able to place the male, identified as 40-year-old Daniel Luis Hernandez of Brownwood, under arrest for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, resisting arrest search or transport, evading arrest detention, and driving while license invalid with prior convictions, according to the report.
*5:23 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a report of an estray. According to the report, the complainant advised he had a bull on his property that did not belong to him and he would like it removed. Several attempts were made to locate an owner before a contract cowboy was contacted and the bull was eventually brought to the pens at the Brown County Sheriff’s Office until an owner can be identified.*10:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the responding officer arrived on scene to find EMS treating multiple victims and identifying a suspect. No arrest was made at the time of the report.
*11:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lillie Kimble Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, an unwanted female was at the complainant’s residence. This call led to a report for injury to a child being made, according to police.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence in Blanket in reference to a burglary. According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., an unknown person(s) entered the residence through a carport door, which had a bad door knob. During the burglary, a small black Sentry safe that contained some cash, a passport, some personal documents and a purple color Ruger .22 pistol were taken, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a checkbook. According to the report, the checkbook was taken from the complainants’ residence and seven checks were passed at EZ Mart on TX Hwy 279. The total amount of the checks is $128.59, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Marcus Daniel Gray of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone. Gray was being held in the Brown County Jail on $30,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Davidson Jonathan of Irving for possession of marijuana less than 2 grams.
*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Jason Matthew Moore of Coleman for violation of a protective order.
*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Joseph Ryan Womack of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
