Friday, March 11

*12:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd regarding theft.

*2:47 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Magnolia Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the caller indicated he had been struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle and that the vehicle fled the scene.

*9:20 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop at US Highway 183 South and County Road 291 regarding a defective driver-side head light.  According to the report, during the course of the traffic stop, the deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. The front passenger, identified as 20-year-old Reno Ray Zepeda of Lubbock, surrendered marijuana from under his seat, the report states.  A probable cause search of the car led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia and THC infused paper, which tested positive for marijuana in a presumptive field test, according to the deputy’s report.  Zepeda was eventually arrested for possession of substance in penalty group 2 < 1 gram (THC infused paper) and possession of marijuana < 2 oz.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Jason Dewayne Anderson of Blanket on warrants related to driving while license invalid, speeding 10% above posted speed, and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Regina Kay Browning of Brownwood on a Somervell County warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Caleb Jordan Crouch of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana.

*Brownwood Police arrested 49-year-old Patricia Dawn Ford of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Quinn Elijah Laube of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Nikky Michelle Robles of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft.

Saturday, March 12

*12:41 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue C regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 51-year-old Sabrina Lynn Pierson of Bangs for criminal trespass of a habitation.

*2:47 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident the 700 block of Coggin Avenue.  According to the report, an investigation determined that one of the drivers, identified as 60-year-old Steven Odell Duncan of Brownwood, was intoxicated.  Duncan was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated with an open alcohol container.

*10:25 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding a defective headlight.  According to the report, after consent to search was obtained, 5.56 ounces of synthetic cannabinoid was discovered.  As a result of this discovery, 20-year-old Eric Glenn Lee II and 20-year-old Mercedes Renee Alardin, both of Abilene, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds.

Sunday, March 13

*12:49 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Day Trail in Brownwood regarding a suspicious call.  According to the report, dispatch advised officers that the caller stated they heard multiple gun shots coming from around the address and saw multiple vehicles in the area. As deputies arrived, they made contact with about 20 people and about 10 vehicles parked outside, the report states.  Several minors were found to be in possession and/or consumption of alcohol, according to the deputies.  Numerous subjects fled into the surrounding area, while many others were detained and identified, the report states.  While people were running away from the deputies, they observed a male subject throw something onto the ground, according to the report.  The male was detained in handcuffs and admitted to the deputies that he threw a bag of marijuana on the ground, the report states. The marijuana was recovered during the investigation and the male subject, identified as 21-year-old Hayden Chase Hammond of May, was arrested for possession of marijuana < 2 oz.

*4:58 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were called back to the residence on Day Trail, to a party that had reassembled after it was cleared earlier in the evening.  According to the report, a 911 call came in from a female who had shown up at the residence on Day Trail as it was cleared the first time. The female caller advised that a male subject had taken her keys away and was attempting to take a vehicle without permission, the report states.  Deputies arrived back on scene and separated 2 different groups of people, which had arrived at the residence after the original call as well as others, who had exited the thicket after deputies had left.  20-year-old Walter Caiden Tyler of Brownwood was found to have been in possession of a firearm upon the deputies’ arrival, but threw it under a vehicle when they arrived, according to the report.  Although a verbal argument had occurred, no one claimed to have been assaulted by Tyler and no reportable offense appeared to have occurred. While returning Tyler’s firearm to his vehicle, the deputy observed a strong odor of fresh marijuana emitting from inside of his vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted, according to the report.  Drug paraphernalia and a useable amount of marijuana were both found in the center console of the secured vehicle, deputies stated.  Tyler and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Melissa Dawn Doty (also of Brownwood), had both occupied the vehicle earlier that night while travelling to the party and were both arrested for class B possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, the report states.

*9:13 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Austin Avenue regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, several power tools were stolen from a storage building.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*3:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Vine Street regarding an assault.

*4:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the Riverside Park regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 49-year-old Donald Lieberman for assault by threat family violence.

*6:14 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on FM 586, in Brownwood, regarding animal cruelty. According to the report, an anonymous caller had advised dispatch that dogs at the residence looked very unhealthy. The responding deputy arrived and met with the homeowner who showed the deputy the dogs, which belong to another male.  The dogs appeared to be extremely malnourished and an investigation concluded that it appears the owner is not providing the dogs with proper care and is in violation of committing the offense of cruelty to non-livestock animals.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Jared Anthony Head of Dallas for possession of marijuana.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 30-year-old Robert Andrew King of Austin for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams.  King was later released on $30,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Landon Chace Westerman of Grapevine on warrants related to indecency with a child sexual contact and online solicitation of a minor for sexual contact.

Monday, March 14

*12:07 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Austin Avenue regarding criminal trespass.
