Friday, March 7
*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Crothers Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, weapons were allegedly displayed by the individuals involved in the incident. An investigation is pending, the report states.
Wednesday, March 12
*5:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of 2nd Street regarding a reckless driver. According to the report, a relative of the victim attempted to run the victim over with their vehicle. A report documenting aggravated assault was filed, according to police.
Thursday, March 13
*10:45 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding theft. According to the report, a suspect was named and charges are expected to be filed.
*11:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Baker Street regarding a domestic disturbance involving a male and female. According to the report, the female was determined to be intoxicated. At the conclusion of the call, the female was released to a sober individual; however, later that same night, officers observed the female walking on a sidewalk in downtown Brownwood. She was evaluated and determined to be intoxicated, and deemed a danger to herself and others. Subsequently, 41-year-old Stephanie Lynn Gonzales of Brownwood was arrested and charged with public intoxication.*7:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Borden Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person entered his residence and stole a bottle of medication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a mailbox that was destroyed sometime in the overnight hours. According to the report, the mailbox was plastic and was supposed to be indestructible. It appeared that the mailbox was struck with some type of bat or club, the report states. No suspect information was available at the time of the report, according to law enforcement.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Juan Carlos Cabrera of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of violate promise to appear, two counts of driving while license invalid, and ride not secure.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Robert Chase Holden of Brownwood on an Andrews County warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while under the influence liquor.
*Brownwood Police arrested 47-year-old James Missik of Brownwood on a warrant related to a probation violation.
*Texas Department of Juvenile Justice arrested 17-year-old Dienesha Lasha Peterson of Brownwood for harass public servant. Peterson is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old David Bruce Ramsay of Cedar Park for failure to identify and disorderly conduct.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Gary Wayne Spivey of Mullin on a Comanche County warrant related to organized retail theft. Spivey is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 32-year-old Joe Vasquez IV of Early for driving while license invalid.
