Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, March 14, 2011.
Friday, March 11
*10:37am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Elizabeth regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant told the officer that someone had stolen two bumper jacks. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
*2:45pm-A complainant came to BPD to report Theft by Deception. According to the report, the complainant stated he had taken his vehicle, between the months of June and October, to a business to have the body repaired and painted. In October, the complainant found that the business was closed and the owner had left town the report states. The complainant stated that he had paid $2500 for repairs that were not completed. He was to able to retrieve his 1974 Plymouth Cuda but found that there were parts missing and that there was damage to the car from weather and exposure according to the report.
*6:20pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 200 block of W. Commerce regarding a report of theft of an air compressor. According to the report, a description of the property was obtained and an investigation was ongoing.
*9:43pm-A suspect, Bascom Oden was detained in the 600 block of Sycamore Street and found to be intoxicated according to police. During the investigation, it was learned that Bascom was operating a motor vehicle and he was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, 2nd offense the report states.
*A Brownwood Police officer was called to the 2500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant told the officer that a large industrial tool had been taken from the property at some point over the last couple of weeks. Suspect information was provided and a report was taken. A report of theft equal or greater than $50 and less than $500 was taken.
Saturday, March 12
*2:30pm-A complainant came to the BPD to report identification theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that on May 22, 2004 an unknown person used his identification to set up an account with Balley Fitness.
*3:09pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, both parties claimed physical contact but there were no visible signs of such. Family violence forms were issued and the parties were separated.
*9:22pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue B regarding an unwanted subject. According to the report, the subject, identified as 31-year-old Anthony Shane Lloyd, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct by Loud & Profane Language and for Evading Arrest/Detention.
*11:09pm-Brownwood Police responded to the report of a fight in the 2200 block of Avenue C. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident and attempted to stop the vehicle the report states. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as28-year-old David Quinn Ynostrosa, Jr., fled and eventually wrecked into a residence causing minor damage according to police. The driver was arrested for Evading Arrest/Detention using a Vehicle as well as Driving While Intoxicated.
*Early Police arrested 23-year-old Reydecel Adame Rodriguez of Early for Possession of Marijuana less than or equal to 2oz. in a Drug Free Zone.
Sunday, March 13
*4:03am-Brownwood police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Main Blvd. According to the report, upon officers’ arrival, the suspects had left the scene and the complainant was not very cooperative with officers. A report was generated with the information gathered and the incident is under investigation.
*8:05pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 3700 block of Austin Avenue regarding a burglary. According to the report, the complainant showed officers the front door of the residence that had appeared to be kicked-in. The incident occurred sometime between 3/10 and 3/13. The house was unoccupied and there were no suspects at the time of the report.
*1:42am-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy observed a male walking in the 3600 block of US 377S who was having a hard time maintaining his balance. The deputy made contact with the subject, 23-year-old Melvin Gil Batista, who was arrested for Public Intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Juan Valle Sanchez of Allende, Mexico on a Border Patrol Detainer.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 36-year-old Summer Dawn Morgan Wyatt for Driving While Intoxicated, 1st Offense.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
