Law enforcement reports and arrests released Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
Thursday, March 7
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office investigated a possible weapons offense Thursday evening. According to the report, a group of friends went to pick up another friend and when they arrived at the residence off of High Mesa Drive, they reported being “shot at” by the friend’s boyfriend. The suspect stated that he thought the group was going to bring drugs to his girlfriend and that after he had told them not to come to his home, he shot in the air from the porch of his home when they arrived, the report states. Deputies found no impact points on the vehicle; however, the suspect surrendered the .22 caliber revolver during the investigation and a number of other firearms were reported to be present inside the residence, according to law enforcement.
Friday, March 8
*10:20 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of cruelty to livestock animals. According to the report, a number of Longhorn cattle at a location on FM 1849 were reported to be starving and not being taken care of properly.
Saturday, March 9
*8:53 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Walnut Street regarding a report of inappropriate photos shared between a juvenile female and an adult male on Facebook. According to the report, a school issued laptop was turned over to assist police in their investigation which is ongoing.Monday, March 11
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on FM 2125 where a laptop computer had been stolen while the owner was in his workshop behind the house.
*1:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Parkway regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a Sony PlayStation 3 was stolen from the residence and identified her 19-year-old son as the suspect.
Tuesday, March 12
*12:32 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 9th Street regarding a noise nuisance. According to the report, the responding officer located what appeared to be a small party/gathering at a residence in the 2000 block of Avenue I. A subject identified as 19-year-old Brett Arrellano was determined to be intoxicated, the report states. Because nobody was located to take custody of Arrellano, he was arrested for public intoxication.
*6:27 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a sexual assault. According to the report, the complainant/victim stated that a known suspect had raped her.
*7:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a 13-year-old male advised an officer that he had been beaten up by his 15-year-old brother because he went into his brother’s bedroom without permission. The complainant stated that his parents were aware of the assault, the report states. The responding officer interviewed the parents who stated that the complainant is not allowed into his brother’s room because he has a history of stealing their property and they recounted many criminal and behavioral problems with the victim, including those occurring at home & school, with other neighborhood children and at local business, according to the report. The parents stated that disciplinary measures have been ineffective and that due to the complainant refusing to respect his brother’s property, they did not prevent his brother from hitting him. The report was forwarded to the Brown County Juvenile Probation Department.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Jessica Leshell Henson on a warrant related to tamper with government record.
*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Jason Therrell Hood of Santa Anna for driving while license invalid.
*Early police arrested 31-year-old Eric Lopez on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 and less than $500.
