Wednesday, March 11
*1:00 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identity theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect had used his personal information to file an income tax return for 2014.
*5:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on Cindy Cove regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the back left passenger window of the vehicle had been broken out.
*6:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4400 block of Redbird regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 34-year-old Jason Sliger of Brownwood for assault with injury family/household member – 2 or more times within a 12 month period and assault with injury family violence with strangulation.
*9:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 321 in Blanket regarding a domestic disturbance. During the course of the investigation, an illegally modified weapon was discovered in the residence, according to the report. After settling the domestic dispute, the deputy arrested the complainant, 63-year-old Johnny Lynn Sharp of Blanket, for possession of an illegal weapon.*42-year-old Kimberly Leatrice Basic of May turned herself in on a warrant related to tamper with government record.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Bernard Crowder of Brownwood on a Comanche County warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance. Crowder is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Alexander Jose Martinez of Brownwood on a parole violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Lucy Ann Ogden of Brownwood on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/criminal trespass.
*55-year-old Wade Allen Phillips of Granbury turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Christian Danlee Weber of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Thursday, March 12
*2:23 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue I regarding the burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault. The incident is pending further investigation, according to police reports.
