LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday, March 10-11, 2016.

Wednesday, March 9

*11:52 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Avenue C regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, two male subjects identified as 20-year-old Christopher James Johnson and 22-year-old Jonathan Kishun Johnson entered a residence without permission.  Christopher began fighting the owner of the residence then both males fled the area after the assault, the report states.  Officers were able to locate both Johnson subjects nearby and an investigation led to the arrest of Christopher Johnson and Jonathan Johnson, each charged with the criminal trespass of a habitation.  Christopher Johnson was additionally charged for assault causes bodily injury and on an outstanding warrant, the report states.

*2:31 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of W. Commerce, a local car sales lot, regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, a 2008 model Ford Fusion was taken off the lot by a male subject identified as 43-year-old Joseph Nicholas Castaneda, Jr. of Brownwood.  Officers were able to locate Castaneda and the vehicle at a residence in the 1600 block of Lane Street, the report states.  Upon officers’ arrival and making contact, Castaneda became resistive and refused to comply with officers’ commands, according to police.  Castaneda was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, search or transport and criminal mischief equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

*6:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of 1st Street regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, officers arrived on scene and determined that an assault had occurred.  As a result of the call, 22-year-old Michael Lopez of Brownwood was arrested for assault causing bodily injury family violence.

*7:51 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding a possible incident of driving while under the influence.  According to the report, a traffic stop was made on the suspect vehicle which resulted in the arrest of 50-year-old Bryce Ratliff of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief on County Road 152.  According to the report, the complainant’s mailbox had been damaged.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of found property.  According to the report, the caller stated she observed a vehicle turn from FM 2632 onto TX Highway 279.  As the vehicle turned, a yellow and black plastic tool box slid off the bed of the pickup, the report states.  The caller was unable to obtain identifying information from the vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Alonzo Jacob Flores of Lubbock on warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Isidro Efrain Guerrero of Comanche on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $2500 less than $30,000.

*Brownwood police arrested 48-year-old Kevin Lynn Jaggars of Brownwood on a Comanche County warrant related to theft of cattle/horse/exotic livestock.  Jaggars was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Thursday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Paul Robert Price of Hutto, Texas on warrants related to two counts of failure to appear/criminal trespass and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

Thursday, March 10

*12:32 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding disorderly conduct.

*8:21 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 Broadmoor regarding a hit and run accident.

*2:07 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a local bank in the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding forgery/counterfeiting.  According to the report, a false twenty-dollar bill was turned into the Brownwood Police Department.

*10:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding fraud.  According to the report, someone used the complainant’s debit/credit card at a local business, taking approximately $80 from the complainant’s account.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 39-year-old Erika Frances Lenz of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Jacky Wayne Carter of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.  Carter was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $40,000 as of Friday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 52-year-old Albert Duffie of Brownwood on warrants related to three counts of unreasonable noise and public intoxication.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 39-year-old Erika Frances Lenz of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Leila Nicole Schulze of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

Friday, March 11

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Nikky Michelle Robles of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft.
