Monday, March 9
*4:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main Street regarding a lost cell phone. According to the report, a female complainant had left her phone in the restroom and after realizing this 30 minutes later, found the phone to be gone. She checked with customer service to see if the phone had been turned in as lost, which it had not.
Tuesday, March 10
*10:15 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of harassment from a female complainant. The female stated that her ex-husband had been harassing her but that she did not want to pursue charges; however, she did request a criminal trespass warning be issued to the male subject.
*1:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had punctured all four tires on his GMC Yukon.
*2:59 PM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the area of Duke Street and Willow Street for walking on the wrong side of the roadway. According to the report, this stop led to the issuance of a citation to the male subject for possession of drug paraphernalia and a warning for walked on wrong side of the roadway. A glass marijuana smoking pipe, along with a “roach” (small end of a marijuana cigar), were seized during the stop, the report states.
*4:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft. According to the report, a female subject had stolen several items from the store. An asset protection employee observed the female conceal several items including makeup, shampoo, candy and bean dip inside a handbag, the report states. She was then seen placing the items into a plastic bag her husband had obtained, who had made a purchase of other items separate from the female. The female was found to have a prior theft conviction and had been trespassed from the store in 2002; however the trespass warning was not able to be located and the female was again issued a criminal trespass warning for the property.
*5:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding drugs/narcotics. According to the report, a small bag of marijuana was found in the hardware section of the store. The marijuana, which weighed 0.5 grams with packaging, was taken to the Brownwood Police Department for destruction, the report states.
*7:34 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Austin and Center Avenues. This stop led to the arrest of 57-year-old Ronald Coleman for driving while license invalid with previous conviction and possession of alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle. Another occupant of the vehicle, 31-year-old Ana Lisa Gonzales of Brownwood was also arrested, charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, March 11
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Dawson Lee Haley of Brownwood on a warrant related to sexual assault of a child. Haley is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 53-year-old Roberta Spencer of Brownwood for theft of property less than $50 with previous conviction.
*28-year-old Kristopher Scott Squyres of Brownwood was arrested on warrants related to burglary of a habitation and engage in organized criminal activity.
