Monday, March 10
*8:08 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 6th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, an unknown subject had tampered with the gas tanks of two operable vehicles parked at the residence, possibly stealing gas from the vehicles. Based on evidence at the scene, the suspect appeared to have poured a liquid mixed with sugar into the gas tanks of both vehicles, the report states.
*11:44 AM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, two subjects were caught shoplifting several items of store merchandise. Subsequently, 31-year-old Jason Issac Moya of Comanche was charged with theft less than $1500 with two prior convictions and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams. Due to certain circumstances, the other subject was released at the scene and a warrant will be sought for her arrest for theft greater than $50 less than $500.
*3:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, a male suspect was observed by a store loss prevention employee opening and concealing two packages of golf balls (valued at $44.94) in an attempt to steal the items. The suspect was issued a citation for Class C theft.*6:22 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that she was attacked and struck in the face.
*7:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, this call resulted in the suspect being issued a citation for theft less than $50.
*10:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a citizens’ dispute. According to police, the dispute had already occurred and it was determined that a minor was in possession of alcohol and found to be intoxicated. This call led to the minor being issued a citation for minor in consumption.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Lakeshore Drive in May regarding credit/debit card abuse. According to the report, a complainant stated that a relative had used her credit card without permission and she wished to pursue criminal charges.
*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Joeleliza Pesina Arellano of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, no driver’s license and failure to appear.
*Brownwood Police arrested 37-year-old Tracy Marie Axt of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 31-year-old Frank William Brummett of Brownwood on a warrant related to no driver’s license.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Codie James Ledlow of Austin on a warrant related to possession of marijuana.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 48-year-old Stephanie Miller of Brownwood for theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Randall Scott Snell of Brownwood on Young County warrants related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated and motion to revoke/driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
Tuesday, March 11
*1:13 AM Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Fisk Avenue regarding a burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that a subject riding a bicycle had broken into the complainant’s vehicle. An investigation determined the subject had been inside three of the complainant’s vehicles, taking various knives and a cup full of change.
*3:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Stewart Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the suspect allegedly struck her husband with the rear bumper of her GMC Sierra pickup for an unknown reason. The victim reported only a minor shoulder injury from the assault.
