Friday, March 8

*9:52 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Slayden Drive regarding a domestic disturbance in progress.  According to the report, the officer spoke to both parties involved and the incident was settled by separation.

*10:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue, Brookshire’s grocery store, regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that he observed a female, who was detained, stealing a can of food.  The complainant declined to press charges but requested that the subject be issued a criminal trespass warning.

*11:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of 1st Street regarding an unwanted person and a criminal trespass warning was issued to the subject.

*5:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 52-year-old Brenda Loraine Kilgore Salazar of Blanket for theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.

*5:48 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of theft via telephone.  According to the report, the complainant filed a report for misapplication of fiduciary funds.  The suspect is known, the report states.

*6:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 12th Street regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, a yellow Mitsubishi Lancer had been taken without the consent of the owner.

*7:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4600 block of Kay Drive regarding child custody.  According to the report, the complainant’s ex-husband had picked up their son for visitation on March 7th and did not return him to school on March 8th.

*9:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Fisk Avenue regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the call led to the arrest of 31-year-old Joshua L. Timms for public intoxication.

*10:52 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 600 block of N. Center Avenue regarding disorderly conduct.   According to the report, the stop was made due to a citizen’s complaint about a man in the Hastings parking lot attempting to start a fight.  The driver, identified as 32-year-old Jon Marc Ereman, performed poorly on the standardized sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Melissa Sue Benson on surety withdrawal related to manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Jonathan Joseph Dillard on a warrant related to cruelty to non-livestock animals.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Lionel Dion Harling on a warrant related to possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Antonio Martinez, Jr. for criminal trespass.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Vanessa Vielma for cruelty to animals.

Saturday, March 9

*1:03 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant advised that he returned home to find that someone kicked in the locked front door, entered his apartment and took money.

*2:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding public intoxication.  According to the report, a male subject was reported to be walking down the center of the roadway, appearing to be intoxicated.  Due to the circumstances and the man’s severe intoxication, the officer arrested 21-year-old Stephen Ramiro Coronado of Goldthwaite for public intoxication for his own safety.

*9:22 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Crothers regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the residence had been left vacant for multiple years; however, since he last checked the house about three weeks ago, several appliances were missing from the residence.

*6:35 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2200 block of 9th Street regarding a burglary of a vehicle.

*11:00 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of theft in the 400 block of W. Commerce.  According to the report, $163.01 in currency was stolen from a business.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*11:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, a male and female attempted to leave the store without paying for $394.40 in store merchandise in a shopping cart, according to the report.    This call resulted in the arrest of 37-year-old Theodore Lindsey Swanson and 25-year-old Rebecca Grace Bacon, each were charged with theft over $50 less than $500 and public intoxication.  Swanson was additionally charged with disorderly conduct by profane language.

*11:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Belle Plain regarding an unwanted person at the New Beginnings Church.

*18-year-old Zachary Delarosa of Early turned himself in on a motion to adjudicate related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Debra Kay Lowrey on two warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.

*Early Police arrested 19-year-old Jerry Doyle Marney for felon in possession of firearm.

Sunday, March 10

*1:00 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of US Hwy 377S regarding theft.  According to the report, a female later identified as Hallie Crough was seen in the girls’ restroom of the store, attempting to steal beer.  This call led to the arrest of Crough who was charged with resisting arrest and class C theft.

*6:59 AM – Brownwood police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Belle Plain Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a male subject claimed that his ex-girlfriend slashed the tires on his and his current girlfriend’s vehicles.  The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Melissa Kay Hutson, was located and admitted to damaging the property, the report states.  Hutson was subsequently arrested for criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*7:36 AM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding lost property.  According to the report, after a short investigation, the property was determined to have been stolen.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:44 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her brother assaulted her at a residence on Durham Avenue.

*6:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Mayes regarding the theft of a bicycle.  According to the report, the bicycle is valued at $150 and was stolen from the back porch of the residence.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Halie Shae Crouch for theft less than $50 and resist arrest search or transport.

Monday, March 11

*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Heidi Valley for driving while license invalid with previous convictions suspended without financial responsibility.
