Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, March 10th and Friday, March 11th.

Friday, March 4

*9:26pm-A Brownwood Police officer met with a complainant at BPD regarding identification theft that occurred in July of 2007.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he had recently discovered that someone had used his name and social security number to rent an apartment and turn on the electric at the apartment back in 2007.  An informational report was filed.

Monday, March 7

*5:02pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Vincent regarding theft.  According to the report, the officer was told that items had been stolen from their residence had been taken between the hours of 8pm-12pm on March 5th.  The victims stated that several people had been invited to the residence and three people had come that were not invited the report states.  When the three left the residence, the victims had noticed items were missing including a pair of Oakley sunglasses valued at $200 and an iPod Nano also valued at $200.  The investigation is ongoing and suspects were identified.

Tuesday, March 8

*2:54pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding criminal mischief at a local hotel.  According to the report, officers observed obvious punctures to the tires on the complainant’s  vehicle which were consistent with being cut with a knife.  The complainant stated that she had an altercation with another subject last Saturday night and that subject would be a possible suspect the report states.

Wednesday, March 9

*9:01am-Brownwood Police responded to the 3500 block of Rhoads Road regarding a trespass incident.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband had beat her up a couple of days ago, breaking her big toe. 

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Lanette Chrane Harlow of Blanket for Assault Family Violence-Elderly.

Thursday, March 10

*9:25am-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main Blvd, the Driftwood Apartments regarding assault.  At the request of the apartment complex owner, a male subject was issued a trespass warning the report states.

*10:55am-Brownwood Police received a report of forgery.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a relative had forged some of her old checks.  This was discovered after the complainant received a notice sent by County Attorney, Shane Britton’s office regarding some “hot checks” the report states.

*11:48pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 2nd Street regarding a missing person.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband had left the residence at approximately 1pm and had not returned home.  The complainant stated that she was worried about her husband’s welfare. 

*1:22pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at BPD regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that an unknown suspect stole her lawn mower from underneath her carport some time overnight.  No suspects were known at the time of the report.

*7:20pm-Brownwood Police responded to an accident at Austin Avenue and Main Street.  According to police officials, a 70-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.  The female was taken by ambulance to the emergency room police confirmed.  The condition of the woman was unknown at the time of the report.

*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Caitlin Francis and 25-year-old Anthony Lee Hasson, each were charged with Purchase/Furnish Alcohol to Minor.

 *Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Jessica Fuller for Driving While Intoxicated.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
