Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
Monday, February 29
*9:54 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of N. Fisk Avenue, a local pet shop, regarding a burglary. According to the report, the owner estimated over $3000 worth of snakes and rodents along with some equipment were taken from the store during the night. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*11:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Apache Court regarding a possible attempted suicide call. According to the report, an investigation discovered an assault had occurred between two of the residents in the house several weeks prior.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Neal Drive to assist Eastland County Probation with a search at that address. According to the report, upon the deputy’s arrival, he observed multiple people outside the residence and was informed by the Eastland County probation officer that he had observed 26-year-old Rodney Sherman Clayton of Brownwood run out the back door holding drug paraphernalia and that was when he called for assistance. The probation officer advised the deputy that he was there to conduct a probation search on a female at the residence. During an investigation, it was determined Clayton was in possession of methamphetamine, the report states. Clayton was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.*22-year-old Andy Lee Andrade of Waxahachie turned himself in on a warrants related to motion to adjudicate/engage in organized criminal activity and place weapons prohibited.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 64-year-old Roy Glenn Ferguson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone.
*Brownwood Police arrested 55-year-old Foy Arthur Lawson of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin Cody Musick of Early on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Cody Robert Thompson of Austin on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500 enhanced.
Tuesday, March 1
*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Billy Wayne Thomas of Coleman on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/assault causes bodily injury.
