Wednesday, February 4

*1:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the manager of a north Brownwood business reported that a male subject exposed himself to a female employee.

Friday, February 6

*8:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of W. Commerce regarding the forgery of a check at a local business.

*9:17 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of 14th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*10:15 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Austin Avenue regarding the follow up on a forged check at a local business.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*11:00 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on the south side of Brownwood.  During the stop, a male subject was found to have recently purchased several items from a local hardware store using a credit card that did not belong to him, the report states.  The male, identified as 28-year-old Michael George of Bangs, was arrested by a Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy, charged with credit or debit card abuse and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

*1:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive, Food Plaza, regarding a forged check.  The business wished to pursue charges against the suspect.

*2:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Avenue I regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the vehicle had been broken into during the overnight hours.  A suspect was able to be identified in an unrelated traffic stop, the report states.

* 4:30 PM – Early Police Chief David Mercer reported that EPD officers responded to the 200 block of Hillcrest Drive to a reported fight between 2 males with knives involved.  According to the report, when officers arrived, the suspects involved had separated and one had crawled under a mobile home to hide from police. Officers located the male under the trailer and detained him while also detaining the second male at his trailer, Mercer stated. During the investigation, a female resident of the trailer park, identified as 49-year-old Maria Delores Robledo, began getting loud and cursing and trying to interfere with officers, the report states.  Robledo was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, according to police.  The male hiding under the trailer, identified as 34-year-old Rudolfo Hernandez-Lopez of Brownwood, was transported by EMS to the hospital where he later was taken to surgery for severe cuts to the hands, said Mercer. The other male received some scratches but refused treatment, the report states.  An investigation determined that the fight evidently began over one party owing the other some money, according to Mercer.  Lopez was later released from the hospital and taken into custody for aggravated assault with deadly weapon and a parole violation warrant, according to the report.  Lopez was being held in lieu of $20,000 bond as of Monday morning.

*5:38 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, witnesses observed a white male vandalize a vehicle in the parking lot.    A suspect was listed and charges are being pursued, the report states.

*7:46 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding an assault.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding the theft of copper.  According to the report, copper wiring was removed from the Rotonics building on Austin Avenue.  The complainant advised the cost and damage totaled approximately $2000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Michael Beauchamp of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence and unlawful restraint.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 31-year-old Wesley Troy Cleveland of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Ryan Fell of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 50-year-old Troy Dean Glaeske of Brownwood on a warrant related to the burglary of a coin operated machine.

*24-year-old Robert Hodges of Bangs turned himself in on a warrant related to forger of a financial instrument/elderly.

*Brown Count y Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Darrell Lloyd Richardson on warrants for theft-enhanced and a parole violations.

Saturday, February 7

*11:07 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, a known suspect was caught shoplifting merchandise from the store.  The suspect was issued a citation and criminal trespass warning, then released from the scene.

*9:07 PM –A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was working patrol when he witnessed a 1996 Toyota Tacoma which did not have working tail lights. According to the report, a this stop was made on FM 2492 near Thrifty which led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 39-year-old Bryce Evan Armstrong of Burkett for driving while intoxicated with child passenger under 15-year-old of age.  The passenger, identified as 36-year-old Kendra Teal Blaine of Coleman, was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams, the report states.

*11:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Avenue G regarding theft.  According to the report, the officer arrived on scene and spoke with a female, identified as 24-year-old Danielle Evans of Brownwood, who was found to have a Taylor County warrant related to theft by check.  Evans was subsequently arrested for the warrant.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the report of a reckless driver after a motorist was forced off the roadway by an oncoming tractor with a hay fork.  According to BCSO officials, the motorist then attempted to follow the tractor, which made a quick U-turn and began chasing the vehicle with the hay fork in operation, the report states.  The driver of the tractor was identified as 36-year-old Russell Owen Osbourn of Brownwood.  The deputy determined Osborne to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested him for driving while intoxicated 2nd, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and unlawful carrying of weapon, the report states.  Osborn was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $105,500.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 42-year-old Lisa K. Alldredge of Abilene for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Alexander James Cole Gordon of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams with intent to deliver in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Chelsea Rene Mallone of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams with intent to deliver in a drug free zone and possession marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.  Mallone was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $78,000 as of Monday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Yunuen Moctezuma-Mercado of Brownwood on warrants for no seat belt (driver), failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Texas DPS arrested 40-year-old Thomas Ray Smart of Abilene for possession of marijuana.

Sunday, February 8

*1:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, the suspect had fled the store but was located in the 1100 block of Clements Street.  The business did not wish to pursue charges for the theft but did request that a criminal trespass warning be issued to the suspect, 32-year-old Louis Edward Voelkel III of Goldthwaite.  After the investigation, Voelkel was arrested for public intoxication and was issued the trespass warning for the business, the report states.

*3:59 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was contacted at the Law Enforcement Center by a complainant who reported the theft of a firearm from a vehicle.  According to the report, the incident was reported to have occurred Saturday, February 7, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Stolen in the burglary was a 9mm semi-automatic handgun from the front seat of her vehicle, which was parked in front of her residence on Matthew Trey Lane in Brownwood, the report states.

*4:20 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 16th Street regarding a domestic disturbance, which led to a report for assault family violence.

*6:30 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2600 block of South US Hwy 377 after observing a pickup in the southbound lanes weaving from lane to lane and traveling 24 mph in a 50 mph zone.  This stop led to the arrest of 34-year-old Aaron Brown of Abilene for driving while intoxicated.

*7:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding a theft which had already occurred.

*Early Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 900 block of Early Blvd. for expired registration.   While interviewing the driver, the officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, the report states. When questioned, the driver admitted having marijuana and pulled a bag of marijuana out of his pocket, the report states. Paraphernalia was also found in the vehicle, according to police.  The driver, identified as 28-year-old Joel Tanner Smith of Brownwood, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*36-year-old Regina Yvonne Holmes of Bangs turned herself in on a warrant related to fraudulent use/possession of identifying information.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Sean Quentin Jackson II of Arlington on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Breanne Nicholle Jones of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Kasha Renee McMaster of Brownwood on a warrant for manufacture/delivery of controlled substance.

Monday, February 9

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Jonathan Brandt of Elion, Texas on warrants related to Assault causes bodily injury family violence (Travis County) and unauthorized use of a vehicle (Hays County).

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 19-year-old Hallie Shae Crouch of Brownwood for interfere with public duties and resist arrest search or transport.

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 42-year-old Sandy Leigh Crouch of Brownwood for assault public servant and resist arrest search or transport.

* A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 51-year-old Timmy Joe Singleton of Brownwood for public intoxication.
