Tuesday, February 4
*6:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue, China Café, regarding a terroristic threat. According to the report, a complainant stated that she had been threatened by an upset customer.
*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Juan Francisco Chavez on warrants related to minor consume alcohol and failure to appear.
*Dallas County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Michael Glenn Jacobs on a warrant related to burglary of a building.
*Brownwood Police arrested 48-year-old Jimmy William Jolly for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*Brownwood Police arrested 52-year-old Terral Byron Martin for assault causes bodily injury family violence and interfere with emergency call.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 30-year-old Michael Lee McAnn for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in a drug free zone and on a warrant related to theft enhanced.
*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Alice Melton for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in a drug free zone and a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Jimmy Wayne Sellers on a warrant related to motion to revoke/burglary of a habitation.
Wednesday, February 5
*9:53 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Durham Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-spouse had been coming into her residence without her permission and taking items from her home without her knowledge.
*11:51 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 13th Street regarding a burglary of a habitation. According to the report, a 50-inch television and a 32-inch television were taken from the residence and a glass door was broken during the offense. The complainant did not know if anything else was taken from the home at the time of the report.
*1:57 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the May Post Office regarding suspicious activity. According to the report, several mail boxes had been pried open within the Post Office. The complainant was not sure if the mail boxes contained anything when they were opened, the report states.
*3:33 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to May High School regarding a theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had gotten into her mail box and had taken a Guess watch.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for making a wide right turn onto Belle Plain Street. According to the report, the driver Ronnie Pena and passenger Maria Ortiz were identified and an investigation led to a search of the vehicle. During the search, the deputy located several small red and clear baggies with residue along with a marijuana pipe with a usable amount and a glass pipe with white powdery residue, which field tested positive for methamphetamine, the report states. Both Pena and Ortiz were arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Bangs Police arrested 29-year-old Tiffany Anne Cruz for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Rolando Derek Diaz on two Comanche County warrants related to possession of a dangerous drug and driving while license invalid.
*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Bobby Joe Dudley of Haskell for burglary of a building, three counts of theft of a firearm and possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone. Dudley is being held in the Brown County Jail on bonds totaling $62,500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Aaron Blake Townley for failure to appear/motion to revoke/theft of property.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Clinton Lee Shoemaker of Blanket on a Comanche County warrant related to aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Thursday, February 6
*4:52 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding the theft of a bag of beef jerky from a convenience store.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Elizabeth Marie Bernal of Goldthwaite on a Mills County warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence/criminal mischief.
