Monday, February 4
*12:13 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a stolen MP3 player. According to the report, the item was stolen from the complainant’s home.
*12:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Avenue B regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant wished to file criminal charges on his neighbor who allegedly had been peeling out of the apartment parking lot throwing rocks which were damaging the complainant’s vehicle. The suspect was contacted and advised there were ongoing problems between him and the complainant. Both men were advised the situation was something they “needed to work out.”
*2:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Austin Avenue, Bullfrog Carwash, regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine. According to the report, a Dr. Pepper vending machine had been broken into some time over night or during the early morning hours.
*5:17 PM – Brownwood Police were responded to the 3400 block of US Hwy 377S, Allsup’s, regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant advised that his Australian Shepherd had been stolen from his pickup. The animal is valued at $400, the report states.Tuesday, February 5
*10:14 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 13th Street regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant stated that he received a disturbing email in December of 2012 and named a suspect who allegedly sent the email. A report for possession or promotion of child pornography was generated, the report states.
*3:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was being escorted from the store, an employee struck him with a shopping basket. The complainant was issued a criminal trespass warning, the report states.
*5:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked in the Kroger parking lot. Damage was estimated between $200-500, the report states.
*5:16 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding a possible case of assault family violence.
*6:45 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the violation of a protective order.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 37-year-old William Jake Boese of Goldthwaite on three warrants related to violating promise to appear, disregard traffic control device and driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Paula Ann Brewer on two warrants for her arrest related to open container-driver and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Beverly Renee Gandy on a warrant for motion to adjudicate.
*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Samantha Sue Gonzales on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate.
*Brownwood Police arrested 39-year-old Jeffery Shane Hamill for Aggravated Sexual Assualt. Hamill is being held in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
*23-year-old Adam Walker turned himself in on a warrant for his arrest regarding failure to appear related to striking a fixture/highway landscape.
