Wednesday, February 3
*7:23 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 6th Street regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to the report, the theft of the vehicle had occurred sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on this date. The vehicle was later located in Abilene, Texas by Abilene Police Department.
*8:09 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Avenue C regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, multiple items valued at approximately $1050 were stolen from the property.
*12:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, a suspect had attempted to steal baby formula and was issued a citation for theft less than $100.
*1:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Dublin Drive regarding the forgery of a financial instrument. According to the report, an online loan was obtained fraudulently using the complainant’s identity.
*2:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, an investigation determined that less than $100 had been stolen and a citation was issued.*7:20 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Zephyr Volunteer Fire Department regarding a fight. According to the report, neither party wished to pursue charges. The incident was settled by separation, the report states.
Thursday, February 4
*3:47 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Roanoke Avenue in Brownwood. According to the report, a female subject stated that her husband had gotten belligerent and irate, throwing things in the house in an attempt to assault her son. The husband was located at another residence and gave a conflicting story that he was the one being attacked, the report states. Neither party was injured or wished to pursue charges and the conflict was settled by separation, according to police.
*10:12 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of W. Commerce regarding a counterfeit $20 bill.
*10:41 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Avenue E. According to the report, 50-year-old Mark Myron Crawford of Brownwood was found to be operating a vehicle without a license or insurance. Crawford was arrested and charged with driving while license invalid with previous conviction or suspension without financial responsibility.
*2:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Vine Street regarding the theft of a laptop computer. According to the report, the stolen computer was stolen from the residence and pawned at a local pawn shop. An investigation is ongoing and the suspect is known, the report states.
*7:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Walnut Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, an investigation determined that an entertainment system, tools and a refrigerator were stolen from the garage of the residence.
*11:53 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office met with a complainant who stated he had loaned his vehicle to his cousin. After multiple requests for her to return the vehicle, the cousin has not returned the vehicle to its owner, according to the report.
*Brownwood police arrested 27-year-old Nicolas Ray Delgado, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/burglary of a habitation. Delgado was released on $15,000 bond.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Lecorya Towanda Finley of Brownwood on a warrant related to tamper with government records/insurance document.
*Brownwood police arrested 19-year-old Jordan Holsonback of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $2,500 less than $30,000.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 36-year-old Tana Denise Mann King of Brownwood no a warrant related to expired driver’s license.
*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Amanda Michelle Lowery of Brownfield, Texas for public intoxication.
*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Leonard Augustine Morin of Comanche on warrants related to no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Bradley Allen Presson, Jr. of Abilene, Texas on a Callahan County warrant related to theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Shawnee Yvonne Traweek of Bangs on warrants related to engaging – delivery of a controlled substance.
Friday, February 5
*12:22 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, a resident reported he was assaulted by a juvenile at the residence.
*2:11 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, the complainant stated a female had damaged a window in her apartment and she wished to pursue charges for criminal mischief.
