Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
Monday, February 4
*8:50 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant indicated that her ex-boyfriend “hacked” into her Facebook account and posted a video on her page without her authorization.
*11:59 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3900 block of 4th Street, Woodland Heights Elementary, regarding a suspicious person. According to the report, school officials stated that a white male in his 30s or 40s had been observed by a Watch D.O.G. volunteer acting suspiciously and immediately notified the administration. The male had been seen walking around the playground and then walked to the front of the school and sat on one of the benches in front of the school, the report states. The male was located in the 1300 block of Brooks Street by an officer and issued a trespass warning for the campus at the request of the school principal, according to the report.
*12:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 6th Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that he was assaulted by his brother at a residence on 6th Street. There were visible injuries to the complainant’s face, the report states. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Reynaldo Diaz, Jr., was located and admitted to the assault, the report states. Diaz was subsequently arrested and charged with assault causes bodily injury family violence.*Early Police arrested 25-year-old Micki Jane Alcorn of San Saba on two warrants related to failure to appear and no driver’s license.
*Early Police arrested 28-year-old Crystal Annette Bates of Harker Heights on a warrant for her arrest related to a parole violation of telephone harassment.
*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Dain Randall Cox on two warrants for his arrest regarding assault causes bodily injury.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was attempting to serve a warrant on a subject identified as 31-year-old Adam Roy Deen of Blanket, when he noticed a vehicle, known to be Deen’s, with its door ajar, then observed a white male exit another vehicle and take off running on foot, across a fence line and onto a neighboring property. Deputies went to the neighboring property and obtained permission to search the property for Deen, where they found him under a bed in an apartment inside a barn on the property. Also in the area where Deen was hiding, deputies found a straw which tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, the report states. Deen was arrested on the outstanding warrant out of Coleman County and additional charges of evading arrest or detention, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, unlawful possession of firearm by felon, and manufacture delivery of a controlled substance.
*The Brownwood City Marshall arrested 40-year-old Demetricus Lamore Fisher on a warrant for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Rance Haley Pilkington, Jr. for a warrant related to a parole violation.
*The Brownwood City Marshall arrested 41-year-old Wanda Ann Lawhon Roe on warrants related to no seat belt-adult passenger and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*37-year-old William Barrett Thomas of Zephyr turned himself in on three warrants for capias pro fine.
Tuesday, February 5
*2:10 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding a possible sexual assault of a 13-year-old female. Investigation determined that a sexual assault of the child had occurred and a suspect was named. Detectives of the Brownwood Police Department Criminal Investigation Division responded. The child was released to the hospital staff for treatment, the report states. No arrest had been made at the time of the report; however officers are still attempting contact with the suspect, according to the report.
*The Brownwood City Marshall arrested 28-year-old Crystal Brooke Negrete of Early on warrants related to two warrants for motion to adjudicate related to two charges of burglary of a habitation. Negrete is currently being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $70,000.
