Monday, February 2

*12:22 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding an incident of trespassing.  The complainant advised she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend.

Tuesday, February 3

*12:47 PM – Brownwood Police met a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identification theft.

*2:12 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect stole her wallet.

*4:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Austin Avenue regarding the violation of a protective order.  As a result of this call, 74-year-old Thomas Roy Manley of Brownwood was arrested for the violation of a protective order.

*6:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding theft.  According to the report, a female subject was issued a citation for theft less than $50 along with a criminal trespass warning for the property.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Josha Chamblee of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

* 20-year-old Mona Louise Ellington of Brownwood turned herself in on warrants related to assault causes bodily injury family violence and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 30-year-old Nathanial Martin of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear and driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Travis Sloan Shaw of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and tamper with physical evidence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Jessica Michael Welch of Coleman on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana equal or greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds.

Wednesday, February 4

*1:32 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of San Benito Drive regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Emilio Albert Rangel of Brownwood for public intoxication.

*1:48 AM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the area of 11th Street and Avenue K.  According to the report, the officer observed a male riding a bicycle without a front headlight or reflectors at 7th Street and Avenue K.  The male stopped and was extremely nervous, the report states.  The male, identified as 30-year-old Donald Gene Gilbert of Brownwood, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was also found to have a parole warrant and a Brown County warrant for his arrest, the report states.  Gilbert was arrested for the warrants and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
