Friday, January 31
*11:05 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of 3rd Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a former tenant had stolen a refrigerator when she moved out of the rental property. The tenant had been taken to court and the court had ruled that the property was to be returned within 10 days of the judgment, which was dated December 17, 2013, the report states. As of this report, the property had not been returned to the complainant and the incident was referred by the court to Brownwood Police.
*2:38 PM – The Brownwood ISD resource officer was called to the Brownwood Middle School at 1600 Calvert Drive regarding a student who was reported to have displayed a red baggie of marijuana to other students and was believed to still be in possession of the baggie at the time of the request. School officials requested police assistance and as a result of the officer’s investigation, the juvenile was found to be in possession of two types of controlled substances as well as marijuana and was taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone. The student was taken into custody, processed at the Brownwood Police Department, and then transported to the Brown County Juvenile Probation Department.
*2:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Milam Drive regarding a welfare check. According to the report, the officer made contact with a female who advised that she had been in a physical altercation with her brother. The brother was interviewed and the incident was documented, the report states.
*8:06 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2000 block of Avenue D regarding theft. According to the report, two black metal frame end tables were stolen from the complainant’s front porch.
*9:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Borden Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a suspect had stolen $360 in cash from her residence. The investigation is ongoing.
*11:46 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on US Hwy 67/84. According to the report, consent was given to search the vehicle which led to the discovery of items which field tested positive as K-2 and hashish oil, marijuana and pills that were found to be schedule 2 narcotics. 19-year-old Justin John Gregg of Marble Falls stated that the contraband belonged to him, the report states. 18-year-old Jonathan William Sharp of Spicewood admitted to smoking the marijuana with Gregg earlier, according to the report. Gregg and Sharp stated that the third occupant (who was getting a ride home from school with them) had not smoked any of the marijuana and that he did not know about any of the other contraband in the vehicle, the officer’s report states. The third occupant was released from the scene with the vehicle. Sharp was charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Gregg was charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, two counts possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A less than 1 gram.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft in the area of Old Lane near Lake Brownwood. According to the report, the complainant stated that he saw a pickup pulling a stock trailer loaded with metal leaving the area of this neighborhood. The complainant checked the neighbor’s property and found some items missing, the report states. A possible suspect has been named, the report states.
*19-year-old Jeffrey Don Beck turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000 metals.
*45-year-old Jimmy Wayne Huse of Zephyr turned himself in on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Justin Lee Lopez of Brady on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 2nd.
*The US Marshal’s Office arrested 25-year-old Daniel Luckett on a Hillsborough County Florida warrant for driving under the influence/manslaughter.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Kevin Lee Mayfield on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence.
* 34-year-old Stephanie Renee Riley turned herself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Juan Jose Sanchez for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Miguel Angel Sanchez on a warrant related to unsafe speed.
*50-year-old Alphonso Clayton Scott turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*30-year-old Adrian Cole Terry of Coleman turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of marijuana.
*17-year-old Kyler Don Walls of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of copper/brass less than $20,000.
Saturday, February 1
*2:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Washington regarding theft of checks. According to the report, the 86-year-old female victim stated that someone had taken her personal checks and register without her consent. It was unknown at the time of the report if the suspect(s) had attempted to pass any of the checks, the report states.
*6:38 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and W. Adams. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of Mark Sain for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of a dangerous drug and Sharon Shaffer for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*7:05 PM – A Brownwood police officer observed a camouflage colored Jeep pickup “sitting still” in the roadway in the 1500 block of Avenue G. According to the report, the officer noticed that the vehicle’s tail lights and license plate were not illuminated, making them defective. The officer initiated a traffic stop which led to the arrested of 51-year-old Tomas Constancio Martinez for driving while intoxicated.
*10:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 12th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the windshield of an F-150 pickup was damaged or destroyed while it was parked at the complainant’s residence. No suspects were known, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on S. US Hwy 183 for driving on right shoulder of the roadway. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle 18-year-old Brian Tony Wiggins of Rogers and the front seat passenger 18-year-old Victor Ramon Lemons II of Belton were both placed under arrest for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Paul Allen Boykin of Bangs on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Early Police arrested 30-year-old Falon Rae Snell Eisenhauer on a warrant related to driving while license invalid, failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Russell Alan Evans, Jr. of North Richland Hills for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram and unlawful carrying weapon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Robert Clinton Hamill for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
*Early Police arrested 42-year-old Peter Lance Herring of Early for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
*Brownwood Police arrested 54-year-old Mark Allen Sain for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Sunday, February 2
*9:27 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of Simmons Street regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, the complainant stated that the storage building belonging to a mission had been broken into and the door knob was destroyed. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
*11:41 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a stolen camera from a residence on county Road 609. Possible suspects have been named, the report states.
*3:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding criminal mischief and assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been assaulted by a known female suspect at an “after party” at a residence on County Road 339 on February 1st. The complainant stated that when she attempted to leave the party with her cousin, an unknown individual hit her vehicle with an unknown object causing $5,000 worth of damage, the report states.
*9:43 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 156 in Bangs regarding the issuance of a trespass warning. The female subject was served the warning; however, she refused to sign.
*12:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 10th Street regarding a civil standby. According to the report, while on scene, the responding officer learned that the female involved had been physically assaulted by her common-law husband earlier that same morning.
*2:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Victoria regarding the theft of a travel trailer. According to the report, information about the trailer and persons involved was gathered, resulting in the trailer being located. The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.
*4:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of 3rd Street regarding theft. According to the report, a female complainant stated that she was contacted by her credit card company and informed of unauthorized charges, which she confirmed. During the investigation, it was discovered that 22-year-old Timothy James Savell was the actor and subsequently Savell was arrested for credit card abuse.
*6:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a female caller stated that she had been choked and pushed to the ground by her ex-boyfriend during an argument. The responding officer observed injuries to the female’s back, the report states. This call led to the arrest of 34-year-old John Anthony Castaneda for assault causes bodily injury family violence, according to the report.
Monday, February 3
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Joshua Segoviano of El Paso for driving while license invalid.
*Brownwood Police arrested 47-year-old Kimberly Slaughter Turner for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500. According to the report, Slaughter was arrested for shoplifting $229.23 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.
