Law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, February 3, 2012.

Monday, January 30

*1:10pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Slayden regarding a theft that had occurred at the Brownwood High School on Friday, January 27th.  An investigation into the theft was started, but no suspects were identified at the time of the report.

Wednesday, January 1

*10:07am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant, a Child Protective Services case worker, stated that she is currently working on a runaway case involving a 17-year-old female who is supposed to be in CPS custody.  The case worker wished to file charges against the 17-year-old for Assault on a Public Servant

*10:16am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Coggin Avenue regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend broke into her residence and attempted to fight another male who was inside.  An investigation is pending and charges are being pursued in the case, the report states.

 

*11:29am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Slayden Street, Brownwood High School regarding a fight that had been reported by the administration of BHS.  An investigation determined the juveniles had been in a fight and were both issued citations for disorderly conduct-fighting and suspended from the campus for three days as school discipline.

*4:52pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Bond Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his work truck had been broken into between the hours of 10:00am on January 31st and 7:00am on February 1 in either the 700 block of Bond Street or 1200 block of High Mesa Drive.  Two rifles were stolen from the truck the report states.

*4:48pm-A Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding identity theft.  According to the report, the victim stated that an unknown subject filed their federal income tax using his information.  No suspect has been identified at this time.

Thursday, February 2

*10:48am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Main Street regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the investigation of a stolen Blackberry cell phone valued at $300.

*2:07pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Fisk Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant wished to pursue charges and requested increased patrol.

*9:34pm-Two Brownwood Police Officers while on patrol in the area of 1500 Terrace Drive, observed a male subject in the alleyway walking and swaying from side to side as he walked.  According to the report, because he was obviously having trouble walking, they decided to check his welfare.  The subject, 52-year-old Daniel Garza, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for Public Intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 21-year-old Roman Leon Moulton of Early for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Friday, February 3

*1:44am-Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of US 377S, the Villas Apartments, regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had seen a male subject enter a vehicle and attempt to open several other vehicles.   20-year-old LeKurt Kwame Fisher was arrested for Criminal Trespass of a Vehicle.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
