Monday, February 25
*9:54 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a 15-year-old.
*12:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Hwy 183N regarding lewd conduct.
*3:53 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of forgery via telephone.
*4:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Southpark Drive regarding a case of forgery.
*5:10 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding phone harassment. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown male called the cell phone she had given her daughter and accused the juvenile of stealing the cell phone from his daughter.
Tuesday, February 26
*8:58 AM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop on two suspicious people at the intersection of Avenue D and Vincent Street which resulted in a citation being issued to a 16-year-old for minor in possession of tobacco and failure to identify.*3:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Waco Street regarding theft of a bicycle. According to the report, the complainant stated that the bicycle had been parked next to the front door of the residence and was valued at approximately $120.
*5:14 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brooks Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that his 10-year-old daughter was assaulted on the school bus by another 10-year-old female. According to the report, the bus driver did not take any action regarding the suspect juvenile slapping the complainant’s daughter in the face, nor did the suspect’s mother. The complainant wished to report the incident to the police, the report states. The complainant was advised to report the incident to the principal at the child’s school.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Samantha Marie Avilea on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity.
*Early Police arrested 46-year-old Troy Lee Ince of Rockport, Texas for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Dakota Sunshine Scheriger of Comanche on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 50-year-old Leslie Lane Wilson of Santa Anna for driving while intoxicated 2nd.
