Wednesday, February 25
*12:38 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy dispatched to a residence on St. Patrick Street regarding someone attempting to open the front door of the residence. The deputy later made a traffic stop on a vehicle on Emerald Drive near Lake Brownwood. According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Jeffery Lewis Hale was arrested for giving a fictitious name during the stop. During the stop, an inventory of the vehicle was conducted which located a black pouch with digital scales and numerous baggies, the report states. One of the baggies contained 1.6 grams of methamphetamine and a small baggie of marijuana which weighed 0.5 grams with packaging, the report states. Hale was arrested, charged with possession of a controlled substance PG 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. Hale was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $19,000 bonds as of Thursday morning.
*9:03 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 600 block of W. Commerce after the driver was observed tossing a cigarette out of the vehicle’s window, the report states. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 20-year-old Kory Lowery of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and an active Kendall County warrant for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.*24-year-old Brittany Nicole Alderson of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Trevor Don Egger of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 26-year-old Brandon Chance Hill of Blanket for driving while intoxicated 3rd.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Albert Ray Holder of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office affected 34-year-old Joey Halzar of San Saba on warrants related to failure to appear/burglary of a habitation and failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone. Halzar was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $105,000 as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Daniel Lee Jordan of Coleman on warrants related to driving while intoxicated and failure to appear.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 59-year-old Billy Paul Casselberry of Coleman for driving while intoxicated/open container.
