Wednesday, February 20
*11:09 AM – Brownwood Police received a report via telephone regarding a case of fraud. According to the report, an unknown person had fraudulently used the complainant’s husband’s name and social security number to purchase six iPhones from the Apple Store in Austin, Texas.
Monday, February 25
*3:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen her son’s Dr. Dre head phones, valued at approximately $160.00.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Nicholas Joe Castenada on an warrant from an indictment related to two counts of aggravated assault with child and indecency with a child. Castenada is currently being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Lorena Arriaga Navajar on three warrants related to an indictment for burglary of a habitation and theft; driving while license invalid; and violate promise to appear. Navejar is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 38-year-old Elizabeth Sauceda on a warrant based on an indictment related to delivery of a controlled substance drug free zone.
