Wednesday, February 24
*10:35 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Slayden Street regarding credit or debit card abuse.
*1:16 PM – A set of 11 keys was turned into the Brownwood Police which were found at the intersection of Baker and Main Streets. The complainant brought the keys to the law enforcement center in case someone was looking for them.
*2:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Calvert Drive regarding possession of marijuana.
*3:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a forgery that had occurred in December of 2015. A suspect is known and an investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*6:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a welfare check. According to the report, the responding officer made contact with a subject determined to be intoxicated. This call led to the arrest of the subject, identified as 59-year-old Marty Lee Riggins of Brownwood, for public intoxication with 3 prior convictions.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Karleigh Kay Hurles of Katy, Texas on warrants related to retaliation/enhanced and harassment of public servant/enhanced. Hurles was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $25,000 as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Trui Lina Mitchell of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
Thursday, February 25
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Ke-Shara Danetra Lewis of El Paso, Texas on a warrant related to assault public servant. Lewis was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Colbey Owings of Brownwood for failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license.
