Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, February 24 and Friday, Feb 25.

Monday, February 21

*9:05pm-Brownwood Police received a complaint regarding assault family violence.  According to the report, during the course of the investigation it was determined that the complainant had provided false information and a subsequent request has been made for charges to be filed against the subject for false report to a police officer.

Tuesday, February 22

*8:00am-A Brownwood Police officer was approached while on duty at Brownwood High School regarding a complainant’s vehicle being struck while parked at the school on February 16th.  An investigation has begun into the criminal mischief and the complainant does wish to pursue criminal charges at this time the report states.

Wednesday, February 23

*4:24am-Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Dartmore.  Following an investigation, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More police reports state.

*9:37am-A Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of 13th Street regarding theft of services.  According to the report, the reporting party (an employee of the apartment complex) stated that a male tenant had moved out of his apartment and had never put the electric service into his name.  The complainant stated that this was a violation of the lease agreement and that TXU has sent the apartment complex a bill for that apartment.

*3:12pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Waco Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated her daughter had struck her in the side of the head with her fist.

*3:25pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of US 377S, to a local used car lot.  According to the report, the owner reported an incident of fraud stating that he suspected a woman purchased a vehicle under a false name.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Department arrested 55-year-old Cynthia Jean Hogan for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Chaz Jones of Blanket for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.

Thursday, February 24

*9:29am-A Brownwood Police officer met a complainant at BPD and received a report of theft.  According to the report, the complainant was the owner of a local carwash and advised the officer that someone had been using a “stringer” to remove quarters from the change machine.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*10:22pm-A Brownwood Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to signal.  According to the report, the driver and sole occupant was identified as 22-year-old Nicholas Ray Delgado, Jr. of Arlington, Texas.  After running his license, the officer was informed that Delgado’s license was suspended with previous convictions.  Delgado was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.

*10:52am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of 9th Street regarding a theft of money.  According to the report, the suspect was located and identified as 30-year-old Leslie Jo Reid.  $3414 was recovered and processed into evidence the report states.  Reid was arrested for theft of Property equal or greater than $1500 and less than $20,000.

Friday, February 25

*1:29am-A Brownwood Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 400 block of Locust Street for disregarding a stop sign police reports state.  The driver, identified as 49-year-old Ken Lee Williamson, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
