*12:45pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding the burglary of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Davis Street. According to the report, the complainant stated that her wallet was stolen sometime between February 16th and February 19th and that her debit card had been used several times. She believed the offense occurred while her vehicle was parked at the Wildwood Trails Apartments, the report states.
*3:10pm-Brownwood Police received a report via telephone of assault family violence. According to the report, after an argument, the complainant was hit in the forehead with a key when it was thrown at her and that she wanted to pursue charges.
*6:09pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of 1st Street regarding a runaway juvenile. According to the report, the complainant stated that her 13-year-old daughter had not come home from school. According to officials at Brownwood Police Department, the juvenile returned home after having gone to church with a friend.
*6:17pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Belmeade Street regarding identity theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that she received a letter from JC Penney regarding a credit card in her name. The complainant stated that she has never applied for a JC Penny credit card and named a possible suspect, states the report.
*9:25pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Fisk Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that his brother assaulted him last Thursday and he wanted a criminal trespass warning issued to his brother. The brother was located and issued the criminal trespass warning.
*10:19pm-Brownwood Police responded to the burglary of a habitation in the 2800 block of Southside Drive. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had gone into his apartment and swapped his Vizio blue ray player for an older one.
*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Tammy Abigail Camp of Bangs for Assault Family Violence Impede Breath.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Thomas Loyed Carroll for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1Less than 1 gram.
Thursday, February 23
*12:13am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Budget Inn, 515 E. Commerce, regarding domestic disturbance. According to the report, the compliant stated that his common law wife, identified as 41-year-old Teresa Howell of Amarillo, had assaulted him and locked him out of the room. This call led to the arrest of Howell for Assault Family Violence with Injury and for Interference with Emergency Telephone Call.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
