Wednesday, February 17

*2:08 PM – A Brownwood Police officer spoke to a victim of terroristic threat.  According to the report, the victim had received threats from her ex-boyfriend that he planned to come to her place of employment and “slit her throat.”  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Thursday, February 18

*9:32 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding an assault at the Brownwood Alternative High School.  According to the report, three staff members had been assaulted by a juvenile.  The juvenile was taken into custody and taken to the Juvenile Probation Office where the juvenile was released to staff on duty.

*10:00 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding forgery of a financial instrument.  According to the report, a forged check had been cashed at a local business.  The business had a copy of the suspect’s driver’s license and the investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*11:40 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of debit/credit card abuse.  According to the report, the victim stated there were fraudulent charges on his debit card although he was still in possession of his debit card.  It appeared his information had been fraudulently obtained, the report states.  The victim had already cancelled his debit card, according to the report.

*2:47 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, several witnesses confirmed the reckless actions of the driver.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*6:01 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft from a convenience store on Hwy 377 South.

*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Franklin Joseph Levon Coffey of Brownwood on a Taylor County warrant related to driver not secured by seatbelt.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Eric Jermaine Fields of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Coleman County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Stewart Grant Reynolds of Brownwood on a Brown County warrant related to failure to identify fugitive intentionally give false information.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Daniel Taylor of Lubbock on a surety withdrawal related to two counts of online impersonation.  Taylor was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Jennifer Tucker-Matthews of Blanket on an Eastland County warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.  Tucker-Matthews was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000.

Friday, February 19

*12:30 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Coggin Avenue for no front license plate.  According to the report, this stop led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia, for which the driver was issued a citation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Clayton Dale Wilkins of Blanket on a warrant related to criminal trespass habitation.
