Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Friday, February 15
*11:15 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of W. Commerce on a vehicle for a defective brake light. According to the report, the deputy advised the driver of the violation and after a brief interview with him, conducted a consensual search of the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, the deputy had the driver empty out his pockets, which contained a clear plastic baggy containing 6.4 grams of marijuana with packaging, the report states. No contraband was found inside the vehicle and the passenger was released at the scene, however, the driver, identified as 46-year-old Serafin Perez Delarosa was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 30-year-old Kristen Michelle Marshall on two warrants related to violate promise to appear and failed to yield right of way left turn.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Thomas Valdez of Comanche on a Brown County warrant related to failure to appear.Saturday, February 16
*Bangs Police arrested 19-year-old Zak Killian Benton of Brownfield for possession of marijuana.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Alyssa Roann Chick of Early on two warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
Sunday, February 17
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to Parkside Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, during an investigation, the deputy learned that the suspect, identified as Christopher Flowers, had placed his hands around the victim’s throat and almost made the victim lose consciousness. Flowers was placed under arrest for assault family violence occlusion.
*1:15 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was traveling west on Commerce when he observed a male subject urinating in the parking lot of an open restaurant. The male was identified as 18-year-old Cristian Arredondo and placed under arrest for public intoxication.
* Early Police arrested 23-year-old Christina Beronica Gomez on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Early Police arrested 25-year-old Joe Manuel Gonzales of Early for driving while intoxicated.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 18-year-old Jacob Munoz on two warrants related to no driver’s license.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Christopher Patterson of Taylor on a Brown County warrant related to delivery of marijuana greater than ¼ ounce less than or equal to 5 pounds.
Monday, February 18
*11:05 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Riverside Drive regarding a terroristic threat. According to the report, a female stated that her 17-year-old daughter had threatened to kill her. The complainant advised that she did not know if her daughter would follow through with the threat or what she was capable of doing due to the complainant having been stabbed by another daughter in the past, the report states.
*1:35 PM – Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a case of theft. According to the report, the complainant advised a firearm was stolen from an address on Belmeade in July of 2012.
*Bangs Police arrested 17-year-old Cadie Dee Melvin of Bangs for disorderly conduct.
