Monday, February 15
*10:21 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Avenue B regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a student at Coggin Elementary was reported to be “out of control” and had damaged school property. The student was issued a citation for criminal mischief less than $100 and will be placed in the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program as school discipline, the report states.
Tuesday, February 16
*12:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant had received threatening Facebook messages.
*2:54 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant about a terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant stated that a relative had threatened to burn down his place of employment if he did not quit his job.*6:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Victoria Street regarding a terroristic threat. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 31-year-old Augustina Tyler and 20-year-old Jonathan Colby Moore, both of Brownwood, for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*8:09 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on 6th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, 19-year-old Cody Gonzales was determined to be the aggressor and was arrested and charged with assault with injury family violence.
*8:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, led to the arrest of 35-year-old Matthew Mendez of Bertram, Texas for theft of property less than $100 with previous conviction.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 291 in regards to damage being done to a fence. There are no suspects at this time, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Alexander Jose Martinez of Brownwood on a parole warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Kyle Wayne Teague of Early for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Danielle Michelle Wells of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Wednesday, February 17
*21-year-old Brooke Nicole Lewis of Brookesmith turned herself in on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Lewis was later released on $10,000 bond.
*34-year-old McAndrew Norman of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/delivery of marijuana.
