Tuesday, February 12

*10:13 AM – Brownwood police were called to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, school officials stated that a fight between two students had occurred at the Brownwood Accelerated High School.  An investigation led to citations being issued to each of the students for disorderly conduct-fighting and both were suspended for the remainder of the day and placed into the DAEP program for three days as school discipline.

Wednesday, February 13

*9:24 AM – A Brownwood Police officer met a complainant at the law enforcement center.  According to the report, an investigation began regarding the possible sexual assault of a 2 ½ year-old child.

*3:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Market Place Blvd regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject threw a glass of tea on him for sitting at the same table as the suspect.

*4:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Fisk Avenue regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the rear passenger side window of the complainant’s vehicle had been broken by an unknown subject.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Mandy Mae Barker of Deleon on a Comanche County warrant for theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old David Henry Bivins on a Comanche County warrant for theft by check.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Richard C. Griffin III of Austin for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal to or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*28-year-old Randy Jack Land turned himself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated with child.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Gregory Travis Lundy on a warrant for motion to revoke related to assault family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Brianna Nannette Rincon for assault on a public servant.

Thursday, February 14

*1:24 AM – A Brownwood Police officer observed a silver colored Dodge Neon traveling west on Avenue J.  According to the report, the driver began “spinning the tires,” causing them to smoke in the 1000 block of Avenue J, then continued westbound, failing to stop at the stop signs at the intersections of Avenue J at Durham, 1st Street, and 2nd Street.  As the vehicle approached 3rd Street, the officer turned on his emergency lights, which the vehicle ignored, accelerating rapidly as it turned onto 3rd Street and again failed to stop at the stop sign there as well, the report states.  The vehicle then came to a stop in the 1700 block of 3rd Street.  The investigation determined the vehicle to be stolen out of Killeen, Texas. The stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 18-year-old Anthony Michael Thomison of Fort Hood, on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.

*Early Police arrested 38-year-old Donna Harrison for driving while intoxicated.

*Early Police arrested 33-year-old Kevin Shane Sliger of Early on a warrant for evading arrest with vehicle.
