Wednesday, February 11
*11:52 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a noise nuisance. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject living around their neighborhood had been playing his music excessively loud.
Thursday, February 12
*8:40 AM – A Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of Slayden Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen a large amount of money from his apartment. A suspect has been identified, the report states.
*10:54 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Borden Street regarding an unwanted person and terroristic threat. According to the report, the female complainant stated that a male subject standing on her porch threatened to kill her while waiving a pipe. An investigation is ongoing the report states.* 1:32 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a property on US Hwy 183 in Zephyr, to a report of a suspicious person on private property. The report states that the deputy arrived on scene and identified the victim and the trespasser as 24-year-old Edward Shay Stoy of Granbury. According to the report, Stoy claimed he was on the property working on his vehicle and that he was looking for help, despite his vehicle being in working order and no residents being home at the time of his entry. Stoy was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.
* 5:42 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on CR 161 in Bangs, regarding a report of animal cruelty. When the deputy arrived, he found a horse, which had been locked in a small enclosed trailer for four days and a dog locked in a pet carrier without food or water, according to the report. There were also numerous nuisance abatements and water contamination issues found at the property, the deputy reported. He identified the landowners and photographed the scene for his report.
* 11:17 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 34-year-old Rollie Galvan Lopez of Brownwood for possession of a control substance and tampering with physical evidence during a routine traffic stop. According to the report, during the stop, a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue was located in the vehicle. There was also a small clear plastic baggie, which field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, found in the patrol vehicle when the deputy questioned Lopez, the report states. Lopez claimed he was chewing the baggie and the baggie did not contain any illegal narcotics, according to the deputy’s report. He was checked by EMS personnel but refused medical treatment, and then was transported to the Brown County Jail, according to the report. During transport, Lopez began banging his head on the cage and window of the patrol vehicle and upon arrival at the jail; he had to be physically restrained to prevent him from hurting himself, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 65-year-old Karen Bailey Aycox of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Robert Lee Howard Brookbank of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/burglary of a habitation. Brookbank was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*29-year-old Anna Jeanette Coffey of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal related to possession of a controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Paula Renee Foytik of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Timothy Owings of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*24-year-old Michael Ray Turner of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old David Eric Williams of Zephyr on a Crane County warrant related to revocation of parole.
Friday, February 13
* 12:43 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and identified the driver as 28-year-old Payden Blain Blackburn of Brownwood. According to the report, dispatch advised the deputy that Blackburn had a suspended driver’s license with a previous conviction. Blackburn was subsequently arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.
