Wednesday, February 10
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 201 regarding the burglary of a habitation where an air compressor, misc. tools and a TV stand were taken. At the time of the report, there were no suspects to list.
*1:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a special edition Nintendo gaming system had been stolen from the complainant’s vehicle.
Thursday, February 11
*At approximately midnight, EPD Officers responded to a motel in the 600 block of Early Blvd. regarding an intoxicated female who was trying to leave in a vehicle. According to the report, when officers arrived, they learned that the female had assaulted the male complainant and had broken a window in the motel room. The female, identified as 34-year-old Felicia Neel Davis of Gatesville, was placed under arrest for assault with injury family violence and injury to a child.
*8:41 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding a found firearm. According to the report, the firearm was determined to be a pellet gun and was turned over to the Brownwood Police Department.
*10:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding a counterfeit $10 bill being passed at the business. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*11:12 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1900 block of 11th Street for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7th Street and Avenue K. According to the report, the driver, identified as 28-year-old Patrick G. Boutelle of Brownwood, was found to be driving while his license was suspended. Boutelle was arrested for driving while license invalid.
*2:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Vincent Street regarding theft. According to the report, the homeowner had evicted a tenant and while checking the property as the tenant was moving out, the homeowner observed the hot water heater and external air conditioning unit were missing. The homeowner wished to pursue charges for theft, the report states.
*4:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding stolen property.
*8:43 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on O’Neal Street in Bangs, TX regarding the theft of an ATV. According to the report, while the deputy was meeting with the complainant, neighbors made contact with the deputy and advised who they believed was a possible suspect. Details of the incident were obtained and the incident documented, the report states.
*9:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Looney Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s windshield was damaged while he was at work.
*10:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Magnolia regarding an assault. According to the report, the officer arrived to find two males and a female standing in the parking lot of the residence. As the officer approached the three, one male began to walk off, the report states. The other male appeared to have been assaulted, his face was bleeding and he had an apparent broken nose, according to the officer. The injured male stated that the male who had left, identified as 35-year-old Jon Aaron White of Brownwood, had assaulted him, the report states. The officer followed White who began running down an alley and eventually hid in a dumpster, according to the report. White was detained while the officer investigated what had happened. The victim stated that the three of them had been drinking at the VFW and when they left, the two men began to argue in the vehicle, the report states. Once they arrived at the residence, White punched the victim in the face and then pulled him from the vehicle, continuing to punch him in the face, the report states. White was arrested for aggravated assault and evading arrest.
*11:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a truck. According to the report, this stop led to the arrested the driver, identified as Forrist Lee Pierce for driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Eric Edward Babcock of Bangs for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of a dangerous drug.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Alesha Michele Mallone of Cleburne on warrants for motions to revoke related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone and two counts of burglary of a building.
*Brown Count Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Taryn Jade Newby of Comanche on warrants related to prohibited substance/item in correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, and motion to revoke/tamper/fabricate physical evidence.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 60-year-old Julian San Miguel of Brownwood for contempt of court.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Nicholas William Smith of Coleman on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
Friday, February 12
*Early Police responded to the Premier High School, public school in Early (not a part of Early ISD), regarding a juvenile selling hydrocodone. According to the report, officers conducted an investigation by interviewing several juveniles who surrendered the hydrocodone that was given to them and gave statements regarding their knowledge of the distribution. Officers seized a quantity of hydrocodone from the primary suspect, a 13-year-old juvenile, the report states. Officers also conducted a thorough search of the school to verify no other hydrocodone was in the school, according to law enforcement. The 13-year-old juvenile was placed under arrest for delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in a drug free zone, according to the report. The juvenile was taken to the Juvenile detention center and released to juvenile authorities, police stated.
