Wednesday, February 6

*2:54 PM – The Brownwood High School resource officer was called to 2100 Slayden Street, Brownwood High School, regarding suspicious circumstances.  According to the report, the officer met with school officials at what is commonly known as the 300 hallway restroom and an investigation was conducted which determined one juvenile was found to be in possession of a controlled substance while the other was found to be in possession of a prohibited weapon.  Both were taken into custody and transported to the Brownwood Police Department for processing and later taken to the juvenile detention center.

Friday, February 8

*10:34 AM – Brownwood Police received a report via telephone regarding ID theft.  According to the report, a suspect has been identified; however, no arrest had been made at the time of the report.

*10:37 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Belle Plain regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant advised that one of his buildings was broken into and that the coin machine inside was also burglarized.  A second building was found to have damage to the door but no access was gained, the report states.

*2:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Main Blvd. regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant advised sometime between Sunday night and this date, her house had been broken into and several items were missing.

*6:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd., Home Depot, regarding a theft.  According to the report, the officer was met by a witness who stated that he observed a white male take an item from the tools department and then run out of the store without attempting to make a purchase.  The item set off the theft prevention sensor as the male exited the store, the report states.  The subject, later identified as 43-year-old Chad Beasley, was located at 6:28 PM with two stolen Husky ratchet sets belonging to Home Depot, according to the police report.  Beasley was arrested and charged with theft equal or greater than $50 and less than or equal to $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Ryan Joseph Corl of Austin on a Brown County warrant for motion to adjudicate related to resisting arrest.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 33-year-old Jesse Allen Ellis, Jr. on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Caitlin Rae Martinez on a warrant for motion to adjudicate related to possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Joseph Gus Mays of Coleman on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity.  Mays is being held in lieu of $35,000 bond.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Josue Rivera of San Angelo on a warrant related to money laundering.

*Brownwood Police arrested 51-year-old Michael Anthony Savage on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 34-year-old Hattie M. Tignor AKA Hattie Holloway on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Fredrick Wayne Benson on four warrants related to aggravated assault, violate promise to appear, ride not secured by seat belt, and criminal trespass.

Saturday, February 9

*12:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, a suspect was identified on video surveillance and a warrant is being sought.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 37-year-old Juan Estevan Lara of San Angelo on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Justin Longbotham on a warrant related to criminal nonsupport.

*52-year-old Ruben Garcia Martinez turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 39-year-old Damon Wayne Beard for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

Sunday, February 10

*5:17 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the caller stated that an unknown male subject had entered her residence through an unlocked door and that when the complainant saw him and screamed, he fled the scene in an unknown direction.  Nothing was taken during the incident and no injuries were reported, the report states.

*11:22 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the2500 block of Avenue C regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, six tires were cut on three different vehicles.

*3:40 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Gordon Wood Stadium regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that some of the traffic cones he uses to teach motorcycle classes were taken without his permission.

*4:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, a female subject was seen on video surveillance stealing from the store.  Although the management decided initially not to pursue charges, when the officer left the store, he noted a vehicle matching the vehicle in the video in the parking lot.  The driver also matched the female the officer saw in the video.  It was later determined that the female was the same one from the video and she was subsequently arrested for theft, the report states.  While searching the female’s vehicle, narcotics were located in the truck, the report states.  The female, identified as 21-year-old Mandy Mae Barker of Deleon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

Monday, February 11

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Andrew Eugene Bradshaw II on a warrant related to disorderly conduct.
