Thursday, January 31
*10:08 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue, Brookshire’s grocery store, regarding theft. According to the report, management advised a shoplifter had been caught in the act and that they wished to file criminal charges and have a criminal trespass warning issued to the suspect for the store.
*11:11 AM – A Brownwood Police officer observed several subjects fighting in the parking lot of Brookshire’s grocery store. According to the report, the officer saw that a subject was being restrained by a manager of the store. The manager advised the officer that the male subject, identified as 27-year-old Christopher Ray Bostick, had concealed an item and ran out of the store, the report states. The two employees attempted to restrain the man for police and during the struggle; one man was bitten on the finger which caused it to bleed, the report states. Bostick was subsequently arrested and charged with robbery and also issued a criminal trespass warning for the store location.
*4:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding the violation of a protective order.
*Bangs Police arrested 66-year-old Jackie Arrowood of Bangs for Unsanitary or Unsightly Condition; and for a warrant on failure to appear.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Dustin Wesley Edmiston of Perrin, Texas on a warrant for motion to revoke related to possession use inhale/ingest volatile substance
*Bangs Police arrested 39-year-old Gary Dalton Flynn on two warrants for driving while license suspended and speeding in school zone.
*56-year-old Terry Wayne Gordon of May turned himself in on a warrant for his arrest related to theft of property equal to or greater than $50 and less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Ronnie Pena on three warrants for failure to appear, motion to adjudicate and theft.
*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old William Richard Tignor of Early on warrants for theft of service equal or greater than $500 and less than $1500, driving while license invalid, violate promise to appear, and improper driver’s license for vehicle.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Britteny Taylor Wigfield of Hudo, Texas for motion to revoke.
Friday, February 1
*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Edward Oviedo Zuniga of Round Rock for driving while intoxicated.
