Tuesday, January 5
*2:11 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with the Precinct 2 foreman who stated someone had stolen 20 cubic yards of crushed road base. Two potential suspects were contacted and arrangements were made to reimburse the county for the materials, according to the report. The incident was documented.
Wednesday, January 6
*8:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3500 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft from a construction site. According to the report, tools in the amount of $3450.00 were missing.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Steven Lindley Hale of Liverpool, Texas on a warrant related to unauthorized use of a vehicle.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Dawson Lee Haley of Concho, Arkansas on a warrant related to continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Brian Harwell of Brownwood on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/burglary of a building.
Thursday, January 7
*8:14 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside regarding theft.
*7:06 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Coggin Avenue due to an unsafe lane change. According to the report, after an investigation, drug paraphernalia was discovered and the driver of the vehicle was given a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain financial responsibility and unsafe lane change.
*9:25 PM – Brownwood Police observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the 800 block of W. Commerce which led to a traffic stop. According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 46-year-old Dierdra Ann Lawson of Brownwood, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance for which she was subsequently arrested.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. According to the report, a Bangs resident reported that his identifying information had been fraudulently used to secure an online loan. The male complainant stated his name, social security number, home telephone number, and partial incorrect date of birth were used to obtain the loans, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Brandon Todd Boyer on warrants related to driving while license invalid, failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Keith James Aubel of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to revoke/assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Chrystal Anne Bates of Brownwood on warrants related to suspended registration and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Misty Dawn Berryhill of Bangs on warrants related to two counts of violate promise to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility and no fishing license.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Jesse Michael Coppic of Cisco on warrants related to failure to appear (Brown County), surety withdrawal/criminal mischief (Tom Green County), surety withdrawal/forgery (Brown County), and assault causes bodily injury (Eastland County). Coppic was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $21,500 as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Jacob Chance Hyle of Bangs on a warrant related to the burglary of a building.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Mickey Ray Perkins of Bangs for theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 64-year-old Randall Lee Perry of Brownwood for a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft. Perry was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Friday morning.
Friday, January 8
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 38-year-old Misty Dawn Huse of Zephyr for driving while intoxicated with child passenger under 15 years of age. Huse was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 as of Friday morning.
