Wednesday, January 1

*3:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a citizens’ dispute.  According to the report, a female caller requested officers at the location and dispatchers could hear a lot of screaming in the background.  This call resulted in the arrest of Nicholas Ruiz for making alcohol available to a minor, and citations were issued to the minors at the location for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Friday, January 3

*11:42 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Dublin Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, there had been physical violence during an argument between the complainant and a relative.  The two parties were separated, the report states.

*1:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Waco Street regarding credit/debit card abuse.  According to the report, an unauthorized withdrawal of $1192.64 had been made from the complainant’s account.  A possible suspect was named, the report states.

*1:30 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on W. Hwy 67 regarding a letter the complainant found in her vehicle which contained information regarding a death threat against a relative.

*2:33 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Brady Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect had vandalized one of his vehicles.

*4:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding an agency assist.  According to the report, officers located 31-year-old Desiree Michelle Henson who was arrested on a Brown County warrant for motion to adjudicate/theft of property greater than $50 less than $500.  Upon further investigation, Henson was arrested for possession of controlled substance penalty group less than 1 gram and possession of a dangerous drug.

*5:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 2nd Street regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the complainant had come home from work to find that someone had drove into her yard and struck her front porch.  No suspect information was listed at the time of the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Joshua Leigh McBride for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and hender apprehension/prosecution.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Alexis Rodriguez of Early for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and a warrant for motion to revoke/theft of property.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 27-year-old Jessica Lee Ann Walston on a warrant related to theft.

Saturday, January 4

*1:46 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce, Budget Inn, regarding a report of reckless driving.  This call led to the arrest of 44-year-old Thomas Mark Boyd of Early for public intoxication, the report states.

*9:18 AM  – Brownwood Police responded to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft at Brookshire’s grocery store.  According to the report, a suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning for the location along with a citation for theft less than $50 and the stolen property returned to the business.

*10:44 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 8th Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that in the early hours of this date, an unknown subject had stabbed the rear tire of the complainant’s vehicle.    The complainant stated that this had been the fourth time the tire had been replaced in a week, at a cost of $285 each time for a total amount of damage of $1,140.00, the report states.  No suspect information was available; however, the complainant did wish to pursue criminal charges.  The damaged tire had been replaced prior to contact with police, according to the report.

*11:33 AM – Brownwood Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Bluffview Drive.  This call led to the arrest of 17-year-old Sheridan Briane Shockley for assault with injury family violence, according to the report.

*12:36 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the suspect was said to have a facial tattooing, most notably a blue tattoo under the right eye.

*1:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while she had been away from the apartment for several days, someone had burglarized her apartment.  Numerous electronic items were missing from the home, the report states.

*5:32 PM – Brownwood police responded to the 200 block of E. Baker Street regarding theft.  According to the report, a male subject had entered the business and a short time after he left, a DVD player was determined to be missing.

*7:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Mayes Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he had been attacked by another member of the household.  A report of the incident was forwarded to the Brown County attorney for consideration, according to police.

*8:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, a known male subject had allegedly broken the complainant’s window.

*10:30 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the County Road 234 regarding an assault in progress.  According to the report, the complainant advised that a disabled man had been assaulted by 33-year-old Richard Lee Powell and had fled from the residence.  After searching behind the residence, the deputy found Powell located in a nearby field and Powell was arrested for injury to a child, elderly individual or disabled individual.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, the registered owner and reporting party had given permission for a female to take his vehicle for one night on December 27th.  The owner reported that the female returned after four days, but refused to give the keys back to him and the next day when he woke up the woman and the vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier were gone, the report states.  The owner wishes to pursue criminal charges against the female, according to the report.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on N. US Hwy 193 in May regarding a 911 hang up.  After an investigation, it was determined that 63-year-old Robert Lee Danner of May had assaulted his girlfriend and Danner was subsequently arrested for assault with bodily injury family violence, the report states.

*21-year-old Daniel Scott French of Parsons, Kansas turned himself in on three warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear, and speeding.

*29-year-old Estrea Linda Garcia of Austin turned herself in on a Brown County warrants related to criminal nonsupport possession of a dangerous drug and an Erath County warrant for theft of property greater than $20 less than $500by check.

Sunday, January 5

*12:28 AM – A Brownwood Police officer was heading northwest in the 2700 block of Austin Avenue when he observed an SUV traveling southwest in the 2400 block of Austin veer off of the roadway and strike a utility pole.  According to the report, the driver identified as 29-year-old Shasta Leigh Osborne of Early was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*2:25 PM – A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop in the area of 2nd Street and Coggin Avenue.   This stop led to the arrest of 25-year-old Ricky James Guerra for possession of marijuana and he was issued a citation for open container of alcohol, according to the report.

*5:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 9th Street regarding a noise nuisance.  According to the report, loud music was coming from the residence.  The resident was issued a citation for noisy premises, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Chaplin Cheyenne Delarosa for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and possession of a dangerous drug.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Shawnee Yvonne Traweek of Bangs on charges of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and evading arrest detention.
