Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, January 6, 2011.
Sunday, January 2
*5:25pm-Brownwood Police responded to a burglary in the 1500 block of Avenue E. The complainant advised officers that a plasma screen television and a gaming system were taken during the incident.
Tuesday, January 4
*8:25am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside to a local convenience store, regarding criminal trespass. According to the report, store employees reported a male subject had been coming in and stealing candy. Criminal trespass warnings were issued to the subjects for all Food Plaza stores.
*6:39pm-Brownwood Police responded to a report of terroristic threat in the 200 block of W. Commerce. According to the report, management stated that a customer had threatened a store employee. Management did not wish to pursue charges at the time of the report.
Wednesday, January 5
*7:41am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Avenue B in reference to theft. Investigation determined that a theft of medication had occurred. A suspect was listed as 32-year-old Monica Castaneda. Contact was made with Castaneda at a residence on Avenue E where she was arrested on an outstanding warrant and found to be in possession of Hydrocodone according to reports. Castaneda received additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG3 less than 28g.
*Brownwood Police arrested 47-year-old Irma Ybarra of DeLeon for Theft of Property equal or greater than $500, less than $1500. 45-year-old Martin Ybarra of DeLeon was also arrested and charged with Theft of Service equal or greater than $500, less than $1500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Jon Alan Brooks of Wichita Falls for Criminal Trespass, Theft of Property and on two outstanding warrants from Brown and Austin counties.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
