Friday, December 28

*11:13 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Avenue E regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone stole $300.00 cash from the residence.  A possible suspect has been determined and the incident is pending further investigation.

Wednesday, December 2

*10:45 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 200 block of US Hwy 377S for failure to signal lane change and speeding.  According to the report, the driver identified as Jose Flores, was arrested for driving while license invalid with no insurance.

*8:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Dallas Street regarding a burglary.

Thursday, December 3

*7:20 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of 1st Street regarding a hit and run accident which occurred during the night.  The incident is pending further investigation.

*11:46 AM – Brownwood Police spoke to a complainant via telephone regarding a theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that three DVDs had been stolen from the mail outside of a residence in Brownwood.

 

*12:39 PM – Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant via telephone regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, information was obtained during the call which indicated that a female had been assaulted by her husband on January 2nd at a Brownwood residence.

*3:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Beaver Street regarding a burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had gained entry into his business, between the dates of December 31st and January 3rd, taking several antique die cast cars without his permission.

*3:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding a burglary.  According to the report, the complainant stated between December 19th and January 2nd, several pieces of jewelry, a closet door and a 43-inch television were taken from her residence without permission.

*5:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of W. Main Blvd. regarding possible stolen property.  According to the report, a television was seized and further investigation is pending.

Friday, December 4

*3:12 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of a burglary in the 1000 block of Irma Street.  According to the report, the female complainant woke to find a male subject standing in her bedroom.  The subject then walked out the front door of the residence and took the complainant’s purse, the report states.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 30-year-old Stanton Christopher Morse of Kyle, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 greater than or equal to 4 ounces and less than 400 grams; unlawful carrying weapon; and possession of marijuana.
