Monday, January 2
*10:17am-Brownwood Police received a report of a stolen bicycle from a residence in the 1600 block of 8th Street. The complainant stated that the blue Mongoose bicycle was stolen from the front yard sometime during the night or early morning, according to the report.
Tuesday, January 3
*9:53am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Crockett Drive, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, regarding a report of theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone stole her A/C adaptor for a Dell Tablet, valued at $60. The offense is under investigation.
*5:18pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 3rd Street regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, the complainant requested a criminal trespass warning be issued to known suspect for the residence. The suspect was located and issued a trespass warning for the address.
*5:33pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Avenue H regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, two complainants identified themselves as the victims of criminal mischief, advising that their vehicles had been shot with a rifle BB gun by a juvenile who was named. The incident occurred at 10:30pm while their vehicles were parked outside of the residence, the report states. The complainants do want to pursue charges against the juvenile.
*11:45pm- Early Police Department responded to a call from a convenience store in the 900 block Early Blvd. regarding an intoxicated female. According to the report, the clerk stated that the female was causing problems, wanting to buy beer, which the clerk would not sell to her because of her intoxication. The female, 28-year-old Reba Buffington, was questioned and then placed under arrest for Public Intoxication. While searching Buffington’s pockets, a prescription bottle of Xanax prescribed to another individual was located, the police report states. Buffington was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 3 less than 28g in a Drug Free Zone.
Wednesday, January 4
*1:09am-A Brownwood Police officer while on patrol in the 800 block of C. C. Woodson Road observed a pickup truck with an expired registration. During the traffic stop for this violation, the driver, identified as 22-year-old Tyler Greenhaw of Fort Worth, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. , Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
