*7:50am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Irma Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had entered his vehicle without his permission and that several items were stolen from the vehicle.
*3:39pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 4000 block of Oakland Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime in the last month, $11,854.15 worth of Reed and Barton Baroque Sterling Silver flat ware was stolen. The complainant stated that there has been no forced entry into the residence and that he would like to pursue charges if a suspect can be identified, the report states. At the time of the report, there was no suspect information available.
*6:01pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Hendricks Street regarding a parked vehicle which had been struck by another vehicle which had left the scene. According to the report, the complainant was able to get a valid license plate number of the suspect vehicle. Contact has been attempted; however was unsuccessful at the time of the report. The investigation is ongoing.
*7:23pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3900 block of 3rd Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant, identified as 42-year-old Michele Shannon, stated to dispatch that she was assaulted by her cousin who was packing her things and preparing to leave the residence. After the initial call, another call came in from the complainant reporting that she and her cousin were fighting again and that the cousin had since left the residence, the report states. This call led to the arrest of the caller, Michele Shannon, for Assault with Injury Family Violence with Strangulation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Elmer Paul Lawrence for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Christopher Patterson for Possession of Marijuana greater than 2oz. Less Than or Equal to 4 oz. in a Drug Free Zone.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
