Thursday, December 5

* 6:39 PM – A Brown County deputy was dispatched to Walnut Street in Brownwood regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had entered his residence without his consent and had taken several rings and necklaces.  A possible suspect was named in the incident.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding a stolen iPhone.  According to the report, the phone was stolen while in the possession of the complainant’s girlfriend.  A possible suspect was named, the report states.

Friday, December 6

*12:34 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 1st Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant advised that an unknown suspect had been making entry into the residence and stealing prescription medication.  The complainant did not know how the suspect(s) were making entry, but did wish to pursue criminal charges if a suspect can be identified.

*1:11 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 800 block of Avenue G regarding a welfare check.    According to the report, the caller requested a welfare check on a subject who was being allowed to stay in the residence but was acting odd and there was a concern for his well being.  Police learned through an investigation that the subject was in an earlier altercation with the caller and had been the primary aggressor during the altercation, the report states.  MHMR was called to evaluate the subject but was not able to offer any further assistance, and a report for assault causes bodily injury family violence was taken, according to police.

*7:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, a gray Dodge Charger had struck a vehicle and left the scene.  The suspect vehicle was located and the driver was issued a citation for failure to provide required information, the report states.

*10:05 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Belle Plain, New Beginnings Pentecostal Church of God, regarding harassment.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 18-year-old Clay Lee Cockerham for harassment.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Irma Ovalde Sanchez on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

Saturday, December 7

*5:58 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 136 in reference to a male, later identified as 27-year-old Robert Bryan Keith White of Bangs, who was fighting with a relative, a report states.  This call led to the arrest of White for assault with bodily injury family violence.

* 1:43 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Vickie Park Road in reference to a possible physical domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the victim had several minor injuries after an altercation with her boyfriend, identified as 22-year-old Robert Houston Setser, the report states.  Setser was arrested and charged with assault with injury family violence.

*5:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop after  he noticed what appeared to be a stalled vehicle at the intersection of Main and Austin Avenue in Brownwood.  According to the report, after making contact with the driver of the vehicle, 46-year-old Dickie Martinez, the deputy noticed a metal smoking pipe in plain sight, in Martinez’s lap.   Martinez admitted to smoking K-2 in the vehicle, and K-2 was located in the pipe, the report states.   Martinez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2-A.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a residence on Western Oaks Lane in reference to a juvenile problem.  The complainant advised her son, 17-year-old Jacob Mendez, slammed her right arm and foot in a door causing bruising and extreme pain, according to the report. Mendez was placed under arrest for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

Sunday, December 8

*10:07 AM – Brownwood Police called to the 300 block of Center Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant advised that an unknown subject(s) entered his apartment sometime overnight and stole several of his personal belongings.  Items stolen included hand tools, a BB pistol, roach strips, and $2 in pennies.

*1:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, a trespass warning was issued to the ex-boyfriend of the complainant for the residence.

*2:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Phillips Drive regarding narcotics activity.   The complainant stated that he found cigarettes and marijuana in his 15-year-old son’s bedroom.  After the investigation, the juvenile was issued a citation for the cigarettes and placed under arrest for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, then taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

*3:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his son’s iPhone and pants had been stolen from gym class at Brownwood Middle School on Thursday, December 5.

*4:17 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding a theft.  According to the report, a loss prevention employee advised that a known suspect stole several items of merchandise from the store the evening before.  Evidence was collected and turned into the Brownwood Police Department.

*6:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Durham Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, sometime between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. this date, an unknown suspect removed a pancake style air compressor from the back of the complainant’s pickup.  An investigation is ongoing.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Joseph Maria Delacruz, Jr. on multiple warrants related to consumption of alcohol by minor, two counts of failure to appear, speeding, allow child to ride not secured, and violate promise to appear.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Onorio E. Hernandez for driving while intoxicated 2nd.
