Monday, January 28

*6:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had received approximately 75 texts between 6:00-6:35 PM this date from the same cell phone number, a number she did not recognize.  The complainant stated that she did send a text to the number, requesting that no more texts be sent to her phone; however, the messages continued, the report states.

*10:24 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of Fort Worth Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person stole a small personal safe containing several items of jewelry from her bedroom.

*10:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he had given his brother a $100 bill to pay their mother’s cell phone bill and that the brother got out of the complainant’s vehicle and went inside his residence to tell his girlfriend that he was going with the complainant to pay the bill.  The complainant stated that the brother did not come back outside, so he knocked on the door of the residence; however, the brother would not answer the door, the report states.  As the complainant started to drive away, the brother came out to tell him he could not find the $100, according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Robert Chris Bennie on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sherriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Jazzman Joanne McNeal of Crowley on a warrant related to assault.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Cruz Fabian Razo of Dallas on a warrant from Dallas County related to possession of marijuana.

*Early Police Department arrested 19-year-old Shalee Rose Riddles on a warrant from Early Municipal Court related to no driver’s license.
