Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, December 8, 2011.

Saturday, December 3

*10:03pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Commerce, Tequila Nights Bar, regarding a hit and run which occurred in the parking lot of the establishment.

Wednesday, December 7

*11:31am-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Austin regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his storage building was broken into and that several items were taken.

*3:37am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Main Street in reference to a 9-1-1 hang up.  According to the report, dispatch advised that the call had been disconnected while the female caller was giving information and that it sounded like there was a struggle before the call was disconnected.  The call led to the arrest of 23-year-old Timothy McQuaig of Menard for Assault Family Violence with Strangulation and an outstanding warrant out of Menard County.

*6:55pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.

*Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding pictures of a male suspect who had stolen items from the store on November 23rd.  The pictures also captured an image of the suspect’s vehicle.  The pictures were submitted to the evidence room at Brownwood Police Department.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Betty Phillips Deanda for Possession of a Dangerous Drug.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
