Friday, January 20
*8:50am-Brownwood Police were given a report from Adult Protective Services regarding abuse. According to the report a victim was allegedly abused by a CNA and was determined to be unfounded due to no elements of a criminal offense.
Thursday, January 26
*9:25am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding identity theft and failure to identify. According to the report, a person had provided the complainant’s personal information to an officer during a traffic stop.
*10:00am – According to Brownwood Police reports, a mentally challenged woman and her mother-in-law reported alleged abuse and unlawful restraint by intimidation. This report was based on a letter presented to Brownwood Police Department by the mother-in-law which was signed by the victim.The victim allegedly came to Brownwood on November 8th and was staying with her daughter and son-in-law at a residence on 12th Street in Brownwood. According to police, she was allegedly forced to stay in a metal building with just a couch and no heat during a cold night in December. The next night she stated she was allowed to stay inside the home of her daughter and son-in-law; however was attacked by their young pit bull who then sat on her the entire night, according to the report. The dog had no vaccinations according to the report and the victim was only treated with alcohol the report states. According to the report, the victim was at this home and suffered abuse along with improper nutrition for 16 days. On November 24th, the victim and her daughter visited the victim’s mother-in-law who learned of the abuse and called police, the report states. The victim was able to return to her home town but has since moved back to Brownwood and is living with her mother-in-law according to police. Adult Protective Services and Brownwood Police are actively investigating the allegations and suspects named in the incident, and no arrests have been made.
*10:27am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Brownwood Police Department regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant was missing two women’s gold wedding bands and believes that a known suspect is responsible for the loss.
*8:27pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3900 block of US Hwy 377S, Shady Oaks RV Park regarding a male who had threatened two other males with a pistol. According to police, investigation determined that there was no criminal intent on the suspect as he was protecting his property.
*9:30pm-Brownwood Police received a report of child abuse/neglect at 2601 Crockett Drive.
*Early Police arrested Deborah Kim Eaton of Early for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.
*Early Police arrested 43-year-old Rudolfo Reyna for Criminal Trespass.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Allynda Trollinger for Driving While Intoxicated.
Friday, January 27
*12:09am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of West Commerce (Oasis Club) in regard to a disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 43-year-old Christopher Hardaway for the offense of Public Intoxication.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
